However, if there's someone to rush you it's a lot ezier then LOD (i've never played it >_>) However, mfers are fun in d2c espesially for lld items. And 3k ar is enough at lvl 30 IMO, because there isn't a lot of def builds in classic ( if i remembered correctly, havn't touch it for 8 months T_T) For now, Ican and Sean had been on my acct, i can tell nick (Ican) if he got the time to rush you with my classic chars. I doubt he kept them alive! T~T

Oh, for starting mfer, i would suggest either orber or a fire sorc, high lvl fire sorcs owns in meph for lld huntings.

Point is...can classic convert to LOD adn if it does how and will the lvl req change?

Also...the scepter isn't a dupe cuz the secondary mods are not classic duped. The name of the ws...nothing about it is duped. I would never pay what the guy wants for it...but...my question stands.

Classic accts can be converted to LOD, but sadly even if you're godly in classic, you will be worthless in LOD, there's no point of converting =/

I'm getting ready to trade all of my classic gear (mostly MF) and I need an outlet for it. Sad

they used to be worth around 100+ sojs but prices have dropped

so yea converts can be very valuable.

Those types of items cannot be found anymore. That's all he's trying to say. They're Pre-LOD patch items.

It's the same thing as trying to find a .08 Valkwing or an .08 Windforce in Patch 1.11. They exist, but are unable to drop anymore.

I think i understood your question.

You're wondering if you can find an item in Classic that based on classic rules makes its level requeriments lower and therefore when converting it keeps those reqs and is worth more on Expansion.

Well, you can trade for those low lvl reqs items that used to exist in classic but you cannot MF them as they don't drop anymore. Therefore MFING classic to find low lvl req items and then xfer them is pointless as lvl req rules have been made equal to the Xpac.

You can mf for rare amulet and rings since there is a higher chance to get good mods on them, seeing as there are less mods aviable.

I may still have a couple of nice rings and ammys from classic. I'll see if I can find them in the gazilloin "BLACK HOLE" accounts I still need to straighten out..BUT.. their +1 skills (and if my memory serves me correctly) nice mods with "NO" lvl requirements. I used them for rushing lvls 1-30. They prolly don't drop any more in classic.
wfg..when I run across them i'll post immages. Nice old classic items.

To convert something, simply place it on a character, and click "Convert To Expansion" in the character selection screen.
