First of all, is it worth it to make an mfer in classic? I've heard that there you can still find uber items, but are they uber enough to make a character to find them?

If so...How much harder is classic? How do you level? Can anyone here rush me? Very Happy

Secondly(is that a word?), some questions about Berzerk.

It converts all physical damage to magic damage, but that doesn't include elemental damage right?

Does CB/DS/CS work with zerk? If nobody knows this, would someone be willing to help me test?

Thirdly, how much AR is needed on a level 30 dueler?

Yes, CS/DS/OW/CB all work with berserk.
On a lv30 I would say 4k AR is more than enough against non-defense builds. Obviously against defense builds the more the better.

I don't play classic so I can't answer that one.

actually, grushing in classic is much easier from what ive heard since i dont think there are lvl req's on the quests. so you grush in classic, convert to expac, and there you go. <- i could be wrong about that. and you can find just as uber items in xpac as you can in classic, the drops dont get different mods

It is NOT easier to to Magic Find in classic. Resistances play a huge part of your equipment, and you simply cannot survive without them. It takes a while to build a character who is capable of killing, and who has a reasonable amount of Magic Find. If you are looking for items like the Classic Dupes, they cannot spawn anymore. Some mods are expansion-only (Mechanic's for example), and cannot spawn on D2C.

I play D2C to look for Jewelry mostly. People keep rares more on D2C. The ring I recently bought, 11 stats, 40 mana, and a bit of resist, would have likely been tossed on LOD.

Glitch rushing on D2C is (In my Opinion) easier, because of lack of the Ancient's quest. However, rushing through Act II Hell is a different story entirely. Good luck with that one.

Classic is definately a lot easier to kill monsters but like dely said. The sacrafices for resistances and such hurt your mf mucho. The finds in classic are 100% worth the effort though.

I saw a war scepter online for sale that is a classic item. I don't know if the mods spawn anymore of if it is a crossover from previous versions but it is +2 ALL pally skills yet only lvl 30 req!!!

It has some sweet secondary mods to make this pretty uber godly...my question is...if you find an uber item in classic what are the steps to convert it to LOD? Also, if you convert it do the stats change? For instance, if I had the above named ws and converted would the level req change since it is 2all skill vs. 2pcomb???

Otherwise, I'm not following why mf'ing is easier or better there unless the drops are higher % or something.
