I think it actually applies the -% off your weapons damage, not total damage, so in a way it is pretty weak in pvp.

IE a lvl 18 zealot has 500% enhanced damage (including str, dex, etc)

Well there are a couple reasons why a spiked shield would be useful:
1) Spiked shields look better
2) For a VLLD smiter

Hey, I am trying to Pgem roll a magical necro head with these mods:
+1 psn bone skills
+3 bone spear
and 30/20 blocking (even 15/10 is fine).

I realize this might require 10000 pgems, or it migh...

my suggestion: if you can't find it in nightmare or hell cow or something try this on a regular white barbed shield (does not work on superior / cracked etc.)
