some say u only need a set amount of dex to get max block but i thot the more dex the better u block vrs more ar and also dont u block better whith a crown 55% than a 50% herdric or is it when u reach a cirtin amont of dex it does not matter wich shiled u use, my mesed up zelot has 116 dex mostly from charms ina re make him so i need this clered up

Different shields need different amounts of dex to reach 75% block. 75% block is the max for all shield types.

AR has nothing to do with blocking. AR deals with their chance to get through your defense, and if that happens you have a % chance to block their attack. If they get through your defense AND you don't block the attack, you will take a hit.

18 hmm i relay thot the crown was beter cuz of the extra 5% and more def but i gues not :/ i dint know it made no di onence a cirtin amount of dex was reched

omg, 100% agreed.

There is no set dex to get max block for anything, everything vaires, and the crown even with automatic 75% block from gear is better becuae of higher def if everything else is the same.

The crown being better is not always the case.

If you dont need 65 str for anything else then you are probably better using a aerin sheild as the 10 less str is 30 more life, which is a lot better than the extra 4 def you would get.
