i am interested in starting up a toury at the end of january.
if any1 would like to aid me i could use the help
i could use suggestions like lvl n typs of chars to have rounds for
also if ppl want prizes i need donations

It is a good idea to scan the other post to get an idea of what type of tournaments have been done and what type of response they got. I have hosted two. Both were for lvl 9 duelers on UsEast NL SC. The first one was a round robin affair with 14 entries. It took 3 hours and was a ton of work. Fortunately I had two other guys assist me with it and it went smoothly.

The second one was a fun little tournament I thought up and had 8 entries and lasted only about 10-15 minutes. Almost everyone then stayed in the game and dueled for fun for another 45 minutes or more.

It all depends on what you want to tackle. Lay out your level requirements and your rules in advance. Keep everyone updated as to your progress in setting it up. Pick a solid date as soon as possible but not so far in advance that interest will subside. Then as the date approaches send everyone that entered a PM to remind them and to get a confirmation that they are still "in". If you have open slots make an effort to get them filled. Excitement can be contageous but so can apathy.
