Looks like it would work fine, but dont count on doing a whole lot of dmg.

it adds like 1-2k to your wep dmg, should it not be similer to charged strike in terms of dmg if u make proper contact with charge?
i know the aura dmg is shitty but the +dmg to charge is not not good?

Enemy resistances will greatly null the actual damage they take.

If you go pure damage, you can make use of +max/min damage gear + charms much better because of skills and auras which will boost it. As well, other things like your DS will have a much greater impact.

I believe you are a lot better off not using ele as your main damage source on a charger.

Holy Shock = Tesladin = Zeal


Charge is for big damage, and you can get at least the amount of Holy Shock easily with physical damage, that cannot be reduced. If you want an elemental build, then use zeal instead.

Make a low strength req shock zealer with it...

Since you'd be using Holy Shock for the damage, you wouldn't need high strength for high str req items.

Well you'd get more life than a normal zealer...
Also since Holy Shock is a synergy to FOH you could have a FOH Scepter on switch.

you might have more life because sockets wouldn't use maxers, but that's really the only perk. light res will really kill your damage. youre better off making a foher if you want ele damage, or sticking with regular zeal/charge.

shock zealots tend to have low ar as well.

The only time chars like this can really work properly is when you have conviction and/or facets. The -res really helps.
