Hey,

Recently getting into LLD I was unfortunate enough to run into a difficult build.

The level 30 fire sorc with visceraunt with shael, +2 fire circ with 20fcr and socketed, ammy with +2 fire with life, 35 spirit, 15string, cow boots (or hotspurs), 35vipermagi with pruby, magefists, 2 sojs, etc. Sorc had on cold armor and es - and I couldn't last very long, by the time I got to them I was 3/4 dead and it didnt take long to finish. With the increased blocking from visceraunt shield and the es and cold armor, there wasn't much my poker could do before dying.

Anyone have an idea of an effective counter to such an LLD build? Price is not an option - I can afford about anything.

spurs if you have frw elsewhere, otherwise maybe infernostrides. if you're a poker as in cs zon, then try throwing. but honestly, there isnt much a melee char can do vs a not good max block es fb sorc. the best option i can think of is for you to make a new char haha. maybe a blizz sorc or a bone nec, something ranged for sure

Replenish charger
Fast running Wind Druid/bowzon/bow cs hybrid/bone necro
Hammer din

ok, I will look into those builds. I think since I got a 19 charger and 30cs I may go with nec or bowzon.

ive never dueld a lvl 30 fb sorc but if its like dueling a hld sorc learn to dodge better its not that hard. but builds i would go with nec or bow zon

I don't see how a bowzon can get closer to beating an ES firesorc but ok.

Your only choice is a hammerdin or another sorc. Or you can just put hotspurs on a godly wwer.

(of course, depends on the skill of the FB sorc)

If the sorc isn't allowed to teleport i can see it happen.

Otherwise a FBer teleing on the zon would kill her with ease.

Psn\ga zon, or a pure regen charger make for easy sorc killers.

I don't loose often, but when i do its normally to a bowzon or bone nec, cold sorcs sometimes hurt too, but i have lots of cold res stacked anyway

It would have to be a good bowzon tho, only mo really gives me trouble that I can remember Very Happy

ubermooses nec (i think its his) normally goes 50/50 with me. But I got banned now so I think im retired Sad

Kicker.

Dragon Flight to get close.
Shadow for minion stack
Traps for stunning (if it's allowed)
Venom to cut trough ES with ease.

And if thats doesnt work..

i know one easy build that'll beat that firesorc, learn how to farcast and that fire sorc will be alot easier haha untill then make a bowzon or nec... i personally do'nt see how a hammerdin could beat a fire sorc unless he just charge desyched non stop.
