I've gotten all the gear for my lvl 29 zealer except the shield. I red l337-h4x0rz guide and i would like to know if a whistans or rhymed grim shield. How much would the shield mentioned in that guide cost?

Your best option for a lvl 29 zealot is a pally-specific shield with inherent ed/ar on it (60+ed/100+ar preferably), socketed with 4 15+ max jewels.

If you must choose between whitstans and rhyme...

If you using deaths belt + gloves, you have cbf, so you don't really need rhyme as its basic use is cbf and resists, and you usually don't need resists as a zealot, so I'd go with whitstans. If you need resists...just find a pally shield with 40+ resists inherent and put 4 p diamonds in it.

A max jeweled pally shield can be expensive depending on your realm...and the two other shields are p gem or freebie material.

Heh thnx for the help but i just bought a 60 ed 60 max 108 ar shield. Got it for 3x sojs, did i get ripped off. I don't think i did cuz knarl mentioned earlier that it was pretty expensive. Confused

That's a pretty nice shield when all's said and done. I prefer to try and nightmare cow my pally shields, however.

A 60+max 60+ed 100+ AR paladin shield will serve you well for a very long time. Should you decide to upgrade your shield in the future, here's what you're looking for:

Crown Shield(highest base blocking on a paladin-only shield, makes you invest fewer into dex for max blocking. If you use a Knout, don't worry, you'll already be pretty damn close to max block after meeting the reqs for the weapon)

61-65% ED
110-121 AR
4 Sockets(of course)
With jewels all either 15Max/50+ AR, 20Max+, or 15Max/10+ Resist All. Pick one desired combo, and stick with it. Either uber AR, uber damage, or the all-rounder shield.
