I've been thinking about lending my account to a friend, and seeing if he likes it, and if he does, perhaps he'll buy it off of me. I'm tired of the game, might as well make a few bucks off my efforts, right?

He goes to my old school, I changed districts and go to school the next one over, which is like.. a dozen or more kilometers away. So it wont be tooooo hard to hunt him down and force him to pay up if he jacks anything. I doubt he'll abuse my account though, since he's been my friend since like, elementry.

I'll get him to return any items I borrowed before my cd rom went ka-shits.

Anyone have any strong objections to it? I don't know why you would, but some people I know get pissed when the lending of accounts goes on, since you don't know who to trust and what not.

Well if he never played Diablo , He might not even think about scamming stuff since he's all new to the game...but unless you trust him really really much..I would tell him to play it on his own then if he likes the GAME make him pay for your account...

He has played D2 before, just not LLD.
Sorry for not making that clear. I'm talking about him buying my ACCOUNT, not my D2 discs.

No I know about the account.. I think he wouldve just buy a new Diablo2 and buy your accounts...I just don't want you getting your nice chars ripped....but...

Ask him half the price first...if he likes it he can give the remaining...if he doesnt like it you refund him...

depends on how well you know this guy. iv known people from elementary school, but it doesnt mean i trust them or know them that well.

Well, a friend is someone I know well I guess. He's a pretty good friend, yeah.
I use the term "Classmate" or "that person from xxx school" if I don't actually personally know them, but I know OF them.

I have never lent my acounts out but my friends let me go on all the time. If you trust him and worsecomes to worse if u think you can take him, go for it money is better then saved data that will end up deleting if u "quit:"

I'm not going to go out and get in a fist fight over some useless data I don't even care about.

I'll just not talk to him for awhile, and since he loves me so much, he'll eventually give it back, because without me his days are boring. Smile

I'm going to ask him to keep my friends list the same, but if anyone doesn't want to be on that list, let me know in this thread ok?

Ok, I'm talking to him now and we've decided:

He can't mess with my friendslist
He can't trade anything off of my LLD Barbs - Rest I don't care.
If he gets scammed or loses my crap in any way, he pays.
He can't use MH on my account.
He can't scam anyone
He can't piss off people on my friends list, the rest of you are open game on D2 Razz

He can't pretend to be me; he's to direct people here or tell them stuff about the situation.

Sound good?

He'll be on my account shortly!

i would say no, any account you give someone else access to better be to some one damn close or else you better be prepared to lose it in the worst case (otherwords dont lend out what you cant afford to lose)

i would say either sell it out right or give it away if you dont want it lending it may just turn out bad in he end =(

well im usually the one who does full char x-fers with ppl ive known for like 2 years they jack me and one kid who also lives in new york like 30 minsdrive away jacked me but he gave me my address since mom knows how important d2 is to me drove over there after phoned and he hung up and had a meeting with his parents lol neway i think its a bad idea which i voted unless you can do what i did meet with him and "fvck him up" if you get what im sayin if u need the # go for it lol.
