what lvl to imbue eth greaves for a lvl 15 kicker?

i don't want mods to spawn higher than req 15. earlier this ladder season i imbued an eth pair with a lvl 12 char and got some +2 light radius 18 Pres self repair greaves.

what is the desired lvl to get better mods such as 10fhr, 10frw, +3 str +3 dex etc.

jewel's 20%ed, cough I mean I'm a little rusty

greaves qlvl = 27
desired alvl = 19 for glorious

alvl = ilvl -qlvl/2
19 = ilvl - 13
ilvl = 32
clvl = 32 - 4 = 28

This, of course is the best boots possible
if you want just those mods,

desired alvl = 13 for +2-3 dex

ilvl = 13 + 13 = 26
clvl = 26 - 4 = 22

That reminds me why I didn't put these on the imbue list.. I can't decide which mods are essencial, I always want the item to be perfect =(

sry but i still don't understand. from what i'm reading here, it doesn't say anything about max lvl 15 reqs on the imbued eth greaves. can someone plz explain it so i understand? and does it matter what lvl the char who found the greaves is? would that greatly alter the formula?

much appreciate any further feedback to help me =)

if i remember correctly, clvl = character level, so:
clvl 28 = 28lvl char
clvl 22 = 22lvl char

but i can be wrong too lawl

sigons boots are good, +gloves.. but i use eth greaves and this grants 30life.

click the "boots" check circle
in the pull -down select "greaves"
hit "show affix"

during imbue its clvl +4 and since the quest req lvl 8 the lowest u can imbue is 8 making ilvl 12.

at the top in the box it says "alle" type in 12 and hit "ok"

please make note of this at the top

with Itemlevel: 12 Affix-Level: 14

thats what you have to pay attention to when choosing best lvl
with ilvl12 get the following mods (minimum)

the only mod u need is repair.
with that said you can increase your odds of getting repair by imbueing anywhere from clvl 8 upto 24.. it makes no diff bc greaves qlvl is 27.
this means no matter how small the ilvl the qlvl grants alvl of 14 minimum, (also there are no alvl 15 mods, so ilvl 28 makes no change)

please note the two columns
one is "level and the other is "level-req."
level is the alvl of the mod, which means the alvl of the item must be greater or equal to unlock it. the other is the mods level requirement

type in "29" in the "level" box and hit ok and watch the changes to the list of possible affix. and even try it out higher then 33

10%fhr, 10%r/w and maybe 3dex or 15 ar are the best you can hope for.
but essentially the whole reason your doing this is for repair.

please note the mods availbile to a lvl 15 character are just thing like def and resistance.. crap imo and if u want def u should be using sigons(boots) +helm and gloves anyway.

bc of this i suggest you just do a quick lvl 8 and rush the imbue quest and imbue asap at lvl 8.

this will allow the boots to be used by a lvl 9 kicker as well.

(UNLESS it gets the 1 mod.. that is req lvl 10. "tireless" 50% slower stamina drain, and no matter what we do we can never push that mod of the potential, greaves are always able to aquire that mod{alvl14} )

so imbue anywhere from 8 - 24 imo, this will keep the mod pool to lvl 9 friendly mods and only 1 req lvl 10 mod.

why are you imbuing eth greaves? you don't get higher kick damage, and if you're looking for three affixes (fhr, frw, dex), you won't get them on eth/rep greaves.

i want cuz lower str req, and i only said that those mods are the useful ones i'm hoping for.

hmm i haven't really thought of that. i basically decided on using eth greaves because of this; i found out that greaves offer the most dmg for a char of that lvl, there isn't any unique greaves or even good boots with req lvl 15, i didn't wana be another cliche' by using sigons etc, and with lower stats in str, i could pump more in vit.

i still have my eth/repair ones for now, so thats good, although if i could get some pair with some of those suggested mods i'd be glad cuz i'd have one-off greaves =)

You should be using Sigon Gloves on your build. So you should always have the strength req for non-eth Greaves.

If you want fhr/frw/dex, you won't get them on eth/rep greaves.
