Which would you use Im thinking the first one as Im sure DTM rarely comes into effect but I also know resists are superfluous.

I'd go with the first ammy just for the 20 mana, and mdr. The dtm on the second ammy wouldn't help at all if you have a +plus med scepter, or insight on switch (Which you should).

Dtm on a level 30 caster is usually pointless. The first one is superior to the second.
