Ok, so, if given the choice, which of these weapons would you rather use on a level 30 whirlwind barb. I have decided to build one, but from reading other topics, the weapon choice doesn't seem to be definative. Do they all come out with fairly equal damage, or would you say there is a weapon that comes out above the rest.
Thanks

A knout seems most logical, -10 speed, range 3. A naga does have more damage, but speed > damage

i'm glad you said that, as i have an Honor knout but none of the others Very Happy

another quick ponderance whilst im here; is it worth trying to achieve max block, or enough dex for equipement? If option 2, should i just duel wield Honor knouts all the time?

does robo naga = naga with 2 shaels and 4 15 maxers?
meh, i suppose it would work out better but i like the style points that honor gives, and strength/ll/deadly strike/1 to skills etc. Would Honor naga + robo naga work well? You'll get your extra damage and uber fast whirlwind speed from the robo, and all the goodies that honor provides, i assume
Now to find me some naga's >.>

2 shaels + 2 maxers would only equal 4 :/ (woo 4 math)
what goes into the other 2 sockets (i assume you use a 6 socket naga)

he ment 4 x 20+ maxers... But as a starter build eth honour knouts arn't to shabby as naga's can be tricky to get with 5 sockets where as knouts are alot easier.. usually.. And need a fair amount to get a good robo naga. Or bloodletters for a high life build.. but dont expect to beat higher range good ww baba's.

Honor Zwei and Bloodletter work pretty well.

Then you don't have to have a +3 WW helm and can get simply 3 sword mastery 80 life 3os (no problem there of course...heh).

I believe back in 09, someone who went by the handle RoboTurtle decided to make stuff like zod, 3*40/ias, 3*40/15max eth cb and zod/shael, 4*40/ias warpikes which would outperform cwpqs, 3socket ccbqs, and 3 socket ccses. Don't quote me on that.

Anyways, my favorite weapon would probably be a shopped 65ed/100ar/40max naga. Reason being is that you don't need any jewels. It's not going to happen, but I got close once.
