if you kill nihlathak, isn't it true that you no longer have the red portal to get to him?? so, what if he doesn't drop any key? I heard that he has to drop at least one of the keys, and it is a 1/34 chance.....

I'm on oleo796 if you wanna help/pm me, i have key of terror already.

sweet, cuz i just got 2nd key

EDIT no sorry you are wrong, b/c i just killed nihlathak for first time and now i have no portal. which is the way it has always been, and i just didnt know if it changed in 1.11. Which is why if you wanna MF pindle, you dont do that quest

ok...lets see

There are two conditions

A) Nihlathak has been killed, and the quest is complete (anya will personalize an item)
B) You have the Halls of Pain waypoint.

if and only if both A and B have been done, then the portal to Nihlathak's temple closes.

Both don't have to be done.

I haven't personalized anything with my sorc yet but I hit the wp and the portal is gone. If you skip getting the wp and personalize an item, you can't get back in there unless someone gives you the wp.
