I want to make a lvl 29 zon. That's all i know. Can anyone help me out: bows, javs, or both. gear, skills, stats(well, thats usually easy). If anyone knows anything about lvl 29 zons please post here as it will be greatly appreciated, thanks

not to sound like an ass but u wont really go anywhere in LLD if u dont learn to do this on your own..

could u atleast attempt the build yourself?

please do 1/2 hour of research and post your ideas, plan, skill point and gear choices.....then we can critique and offer advice.

this is the brief version:
max charged for lvl 29, 1+ power strike(synergy), 1 jab, 1 guided and all prereqs, 1 crit strike, 1+penetrate
main gear(im kinda poor, esp on LLD gear): 5soc ashwood with 5Xiths and sols, sanders boots/gloves or bloodfists, biggins, twitch, angelic ring/ammy+rare ring, bladebuckle belt or 24FHR rare belt(less str) and some rare javs that i need to get(not sure what mods to look for) and a shield...sigons? pelta? umbral? not sure
As always any advice would be appreciated.

charged strike will usually only have no more then half the bolts hit the player... so your dmg is 1/2 what ud anticipate, Then assume 50-75% res and youll see what im talking about. also Charged strike is slow and interuptible. Sad

if all u can afford is Iths or sols,, use all sols in the ashwood... but u must realize u loose out on any max dmg u try to equip if you pump min so much.

the best bet for a lighting build is something like +3jav 30% ias magical maidens. tough to find though.

for the jab build probably wanna go with Eth harpoons or Eth cerimonials

imo you really need some of the best gear possible to earn the respect of good zon dueler now, otherwise she just wont cut it vs others players

look into your other options.
sure the twitch is reall good, but biggens? u got peasent crown or dmg masks now, or even lore helms
sigons shield? think about whitsans or "Rhyme" shields.
String of ears or blade buckle can be a tough choice.

ammy rare (eye of eltich, mahamio curio..?)

remeber a charge strike zon doesnt need AR at all. and guided im certain doesnt need it either

thanks for the advice. can you explain what you mean about sols vs. iths? what happens if i put enough sols into the bow to max its min higher than its max...?

If Min dmg > Max dmg, then Max dmg = Min dmg + 1

wich means once u surpass your max dmg every +1 min dmg = +1min and +1 max

so although u could have Six carnage jewels..u could have Six +9dmg sols

with a low range weapon,, lets say weapon is 20-30 6 sockets

the carnage = +90max = 20-120 (avg 70)
the sols = +54min dmg = 74-75 (avg 74.5)

now if u do this u must realize that u need to use all Min dmg in the rest of your gear once u take this route

example 20-30 weapon

u add +50 min dmg and +30max dmg
dmg = 50min +20 - 30max +30

70-60 so game sets max = min+1
70-71

as u can see your max dmg is not added at the end, the two are kept seperate and the min dmg has gobled up your max, ud have to waste alot of max dmg to finally break out of the min dmg pool u created

ohh ok thanks for the info. I managed to find a few sharp grand/large charms(max dmg+ar) so do you think it would be better to just go with 5Xith if i use a bow? i dont think i'll be able to find all that many min damage charms with low lvl req(i thought +3 min GC is lvl req 63...).

I don't know what your realm is, but do you(or does anyone) know what +15 max jewels cost to obtain?(say, in bulk of 3+)

Also, would it be ok to try 5Xsol on the bow and just stack my inventory with +res, ar, life, mana, elemental dmg(etc.) charms? Which would work better overall for LLDing with people who will probably have good res, but maybe some DR too?

If anyone wants to see a killer CS zon (level 30) look up Atalanta on East Ladder. I've seen it go toe to toe with equal level or higher zealers, WWers, and kicksins that are good to very well equipped.
