Worth skilling Battle Cry?

Advantages:
1) -50% Enemy Defense at level 1
2) -25% Enemy Damage at level 1
3) Easy to buff to 3 with your weapon switch

Disadvantages:
1) Loss of two points (which would go to Weapon Mastery)
2) Extremely short duration (16 seconds at level 3)
3) Short range makes it not the easiest skill to cast during a duel

I'm thinking not to bother with it, but I'm curious if anyone has had good results with it.

luckily my conc helm had 2 bcry

i found that in zeal battles, they didnt help that much because of their high damage and low defense anyway. if you try to use your shout switch and screw up, you are pretty much dead.

in barb v barb battles, i found it helped quite a bit. its easier to get off the shout switch since they would be doing just 1 hit anyway

for my norm barb, a level 2 bcry does

2408 def went to 2070
3189 def went to 2851

depending on your ar, dex, and their def this could mean a 2-3% increase in cth against barbs

now compare that to the 5-10 dmg and 8-16 atk and crit percent increase or 10-20 shout increase depending on your build

personally, i wouldnt really miss it if my helm didnt have it as i usually forget about it in duels anyway

If I decide to make it! I'm still trying to decide whether to bother, but it's fun fiddling around with new ideas.

Just make sure you do it the awesome way and use a rare amulet with two rare rings.
