boredness

does anyone like completely understand how to craft? cause i have no idea... arreat summit says a lil, but i've seen some awesome things that have been crafted, and what arreat shows... sux..? lol. so if any one has like a link or feels like trying to explain, please do!! AND i'm still looking for lld zealot items, pm if u have ANY cause i have like, nothing... other than what my friend let me borrow...

(base ilvl + clvl) / 2 = crafted ilvl

knowing what ilvl the crafted item will be will help you determine what prefixes/suffixes you could get. Knowing what prefixes/suffixes you could get and what prefixes/suffixes you want, you can help determine what the base ilvl nees to be and which character lvl at which to craft with.

Crafted items have set mods as shown on the arreat summit, it also lists how many prefixes/suffixes you may get with a certain crafted ilvl.

I do know that the minimum level requirement for crafted items is clvl 14, and iirc the clvl required will be +3 of that of the highest clvl required prefix/suffix.

This is as much as I understand of crafting, so I'm sure somebody else could help you out further, that is just the basics of it that I have explained.

If your crafting for a hld, just use a recepies for caster amulets and a high lvl char like 90.

Well, you don't really need to worry about that. Only if your trying to get certain mods so that the lvl requirement doesn't go too high and have the best chance of getting the mods you want.

its really best to use a very high ilvl item to craft with b/c it gives you the widest range of mods. try crafting with ammulets from a4-a5 hell diablo/baal/pindle
