Gloves: IK Gloves
Ring: Raven Frost
Belt: IK Belt
Ring: Angelic Halo
Boots: IK Boots
Stats:
Strength: Enough for equipment
Dexterity: Enough for max block and equipment
Vitality: Rest
Energy: None
Skills:
Battle Orders: Max?
Axe Mastery: Around 5...
Whirlwind: Probably 2-3...

i'd go with a shaftstop and keep a GA in my stash for fighting elementals.
also, at lvl 50 with a normal rush, you'll have 53 skills to play with. my question is, what happened to the rest of the skills, why only 5 in axe mastery and 3 in ww?

switch gerkes for sanctuary, possibly go to level 54 for up'd shaftstop, 4 socket monarchs, and kingslayer balrog blade, use gore rider boots and perf string

I have a level 47 Barb that uses an ethereal self repair legend sword. A legend sword requires 75% ias to reach 9 frame swing I believe. 40 on the sword + 25 from IK gloves and boots + one jewel gets there. It IS hard to get a nice legend sword, but imbue ethereal ones and get lucky.
For your skills, I suggest putting more points into your mastery to get critical strike up, and because more points into WW will increase the mana cost.

i used a 54/58 barb, 54 at the start but when i made his shield it was lvl 57 cause of the base shield i used so i took him to 58. at 58 i had enough pts to max battle orders, 1 in b.command, max mastery, 1 into increase speed, natural resists, and pre req's and like 12-15 somewhere in there... into whirlwind. that was with hell rush though, but that build worked great for me. other than my level 30 nec, it was my most favourite character i have ever had
