Pop hip-hop is mainly about that but if you look deeper there are many rap and hip hop artists that talk about important issues. but when it comes to mind what are the important issues that make you consider a style a music hard or important? if u ever watch the girl sk8 video "yeah right" the song in the crailtap scene is kick ass

what kind of hardcore music?

there are some major sweet songs by a few underground rap artists and groups that i know of.

Like just about anything Aesop Rock puts out becuase its mostly political.
