the only one of those chars you mention roy that actually regens life is the pally. and i dont even see how a find potion barb would be any good and i really doubt anyone has actually considered one till now this all IMO

In public duel games sure. Use the skill if you so wish, see how tarnished your name will get. But in most tourneys all monsters in the area you are dueling should be cleared as a previous post commented.

I actually think this is valid. Potting isn't allowed in duels, for good reasons, but using a character skill to replenish life is accepted. If the character skill manifests a potion, how is that different than switching to cleansing to heal or recasting Bone Armor and adding +200 or so physical absorb however many times you want?
Not that I'm ever going to make a Find Item barb, but I would tip my hat, grab my charger, and bring righteous indignity to anyone who tries to NK you.

There is a difference. That is the skill itself. Potting requires an item, which is not a skill no matter where you got the potion from.
I'm definately not against it, but the time it takes to do this will cost you the duel. And if it doesn't, then your opponent is too weak for you and you should stop the duel.

Finally someone agrees with me XD, not that I would ever make a potion find barb. I just brought this up because I have told so many people to make them.

I approve barbs using find potion.

not kidding.
While they go to pick it up i'd be wailing on them, and if they did manage to use it- more power to them.
It would be fun to allow this, you gotta admit. ^_^
