Whats a decent defence rating to aim for with a level 18 Conc barb?

Just like to know what kind of level I should be aiming for before I go item hunting or waste stuff trading for things I dont need. Rolling Eyes

er. well you can figure that out on your own. take your total defense (add up items defense, gloves, armor, helm etc.) then take your total +skills and +shout (ie: +3shout fanged helm, +1skill eye of etlich, etc). and then use the skill planner to find out how much Edefence the total shout would give, and thats your defense rating.

That will tell me what defence rating I will GET, still wont tell me if its decent compared to other Conc barbs... just need an idea of where to aim for.

My non defence based conc barbarian level 29, only had 500..
My defence based conc barbarian level 29, has 8000

exactly, its all gear and skill allocation dependant, there is no "average" to tell you.

Mine has like...2xx defence without conc or shout, about 5xx with shout, around 1k with conc.

I'd say 1k or slightly over 1k is decent for lvl 18 conc barb. you probably wouldn't have to go for defence items to get 1k if you use gothic plate, crown, cow king, deaths, pelta or rare boneshield, with shout and conc you could probably get near 1k just from that o.O
