Magical Kite Shield
+ Jewel
+ Nef Rune
+ Perfect Emerald

Preset Mods:
Reduces Damage 1-4
Reduces Magic Damage 1-2
5-10% Resist Magic
+10-30% Defense

Can be ok vs Necro's if you get the 10% magic resist, debateable if its better to use this over a damage enhancing shield tho. Put it down as a "maybe" Laughing

I got a 10% with 2mdr one and deflecting mods Smile I use it vs necro's Over a damage enhancing one, i think it +15 max is better than a 45 max shield vs nec.

I've got a question about crafting:

Does the level of your character influence the level req of the item ?

For example , if I use a level 90 char to craft a buckler , will the buckler get a really high level req ? And if I use a low level char ?

Thanks

The clvl does indeed effect your items ilvl. You may have noticed that some crafted items have a very high clvl requirement. This is because the formula is not simply clvl = .75 * ilvl.

For a full explanation of crafting ilvls and required levels, visit

http://www.diabloii.nu/affixcalc/craft.html

If this is somewhat confusing, either post, or pm, and i'll go over it with you

No No, just a low level char will suffice. The highest lvl req mods you can get on a crafted item depends on the level of your char (unless it's like level 1 Wink ) example, a level 30 crafting doesn't get level 76 mods (someone correct me on this?) Of course, remember exceptionals and elites have higher level reqs.

Doable, yes, but in almost all cases a rare would be better.

Skill amulets, if crafted, become far too high of a level required.

a plain +1 Character Skill amulet, which is usually clvl 27, is only craftable to be usuable by lvl 40 or higher if that was the only other mod, besides the inherent ones.

The best bets are to use the recipies which give you all of the mods you want as inherent, and if you do want other ones, they should have a low level requirement.

Caster Belts are a good LLD craft, and are capable of getting good mods without going over the level limit.

@That.Guy

The Ilvl of the ammy you use to craft does indeed effect potential mods of the resulitng ammy.

Taken from AS:

The ilvl of a Crafted Item is equal to half the level of the crafting character (rounded down) plus half the ilvl of the input item (rounded down).
Put another way: ilvl = int(.5 * clvl) + int(.5 * ilvl)

In addition:

At ilvls 1-30, there's a 40% chance of 1 affix and a 20% chance each of 2, 3 or 4 affixes.
At ilvls 31-50, there's a 60% chance of 2 affixes and a 20% chance each of 3 or 4 affixes.
At ilvls 51-70, there's an 80% chance of 3 affixes and a 20% chance of 4 affixes.
At ilvls 71+, there's a 100% chance of 4 affixes.

Each affix will add to the clvl required.

For example, an amulet with 4 affixes, all of which are ilvl 1, will have a clvl required of 22.

Crafted belts are cool
