Rules

The following characters are allowed, all 30 unless exceptions are noted:

Amazon:
GA Zon
Plauge Zon
CS Zon

Druid:
Wind Druid
Fire Druid

Paladin:
Charger (27)
Templar (FoH)
Hammerdin

Barbarian:
Throw barb
WW'er
Warcry barb
Frenzy Barb

Necromancer:
Bone Necro
Poison Necro
Summon Necro

Assasin:
Trapsin
Furysin

Sorceress:
Any build

If you are unsure if your build can enter, PM me and we will discuss the details.


Skill Restrictions

Paladins - Thorns may not be used at any time.

- Individual Resist Element Auras may not be used at any time. Salvation may be used at any time

*Pure Chargers are considered ranged characters. Any Paladin variant using charge as a means of attack is limited to level 27. Any Paladin can use charge as a means of transportation. .
**Blessed Hammer Pallies and FoHers cannot use any damaging skill or attack aside from Blessed Hammer and/or Fist of Heavens. Conviction is allowed. Holy Freeze is allowed. Charge is allowed as a mode of transportation, but if you do connect occasionally, that is allowed and understandable sometimes due to desynch and the rapid movement of charge. (most BH or FoHers will not have enough dmg or AR to do much of anything anyway)

Amazon - Slow Missile may not be used at any time.

Assassin - Blade Fury assassins may go to level 30, but may not use any other traps, with the exception of Blade Sentinal and Blade Shield, and no martial arts skills may be used, with the exception of dragon flight.

Barbarian - Level 30 Singers can only use warcries as their attack. No other damaging skill is allowed to be used.

Necromancer - May not use Bone Prison, Decrepify, or Clay Golem at any time. May not recast Bone Armor once the duel starts.

Sorceress - Teams with one sorceress may use teleport. Teams with two sorceresses require the permission of the opponent to teleport.

Druids - Druids may not recast Cyclone armor once the duel starts

Item Restrictions:

-No items with the "Slows target by X%" modifier.
-No charged items are allowed to be used. (Example: Life Tap wands, Amp wands, Teleport amulets, etc.) The items themselves can be used, but the charges cannot be used.
-No more than 200 poison from charms is allowed to be used. No more than 200 poison from items is allowed to be used.
-No Hacked, Duped, or Bugged Items are allowed in any shape or form at any time. This includes but is not limited to Carrion Grinder and Carrion Horn (classic USWest dupes).
-When dueling a character who relies on elemental damage (sorc, trapsin, ele druid, etc...), a maximum of one of the following may be used during the duel: Hotspur, Venom Ward, Infernostride, Nokozan relic, or Hawkmail.
-There is no limit to the amount of resistances you are allowed to stack.
-Rockfleece and String of Ears may not be used at the same time.
-No more than a total of 7 Sol Runes may be used in your armor, helm, and/or shield.



Other Restrictions:

-Skills may not be prebuffed beyond switch.
-All duels will take place in the Blood Moor in act 1.
-No mercenaries may be used at any time.
-No wells or shrines may be used during duels.
-No potions of any kind (including mana, antidote, and thawing potions).
-No outside third party programs. (Including but not limited to Maphack)
-Any member to use a banned skill automatically loses the round for their team.
-Any member found using banned items (Including charms) is banned from dueling in the tournament, and their team is forced to duel without 1 member, and also automatically takes a 1 round loss.
-The Blood Moor is to be cleared completely.


Format For Duels

-Each set of Duels is to be Best Three Out Of Five.
-Each Team will have a chosen Captain
-Before each duel, once the team is prepapred, the Captain will say "Ready"
-Once both Captains have said "Ready", each will say "Go"
-Once the Second Go is said, the Duel commences.
-Once dead, you must stay inside town until all members of 1 team have died. You may not run and get your body until such time. Paladins who die must stay in town AND TURN OFF THEIR AURA so that their team members who are still dueling do not benefit from it.

How does the League work?

-Each team will complete 4 scheduled duels per each week. This number may change depending on the number of entries.
-The time-frame for the set of duels will be a Monday to Monday schedule. Duels will be assigned on Monday. Teams that do not complete the scheduled duels will both be assigned a loss.
-At the end of the season, the four teams with the best records will compete in a single elimination tournement. The winner of this tournament will be declared the winner.

What is the pre-season?

I am unsure of how well the season will work. The pre-season will be a shorter version of Season 1, to test exactly how well things will go.

The preseason will have no entry fee, and will be three weeks long.

When does the Pre-Season start?

The preseason will start Monday March 28th.

Entry Fee and Prizes

The preseason has no entry fee. Season 1 will have a 15 life sc entry fee per team member

The top two teams for the pre-season will not have to pay an entry fee for Season 1.

For Season 1 the prizes will be as following.

1st Place: 3 SoJ's plus 1/4 of the 15 life sc pot per teammate. They will not have to pay an entry fee for the following season.
2nd Place: 1/4 of the 15 life sc pot per teammate.

Teams:

You may either sign up as a team or unpaired. Unpaired entries will not be paired. It is your responsiblity to bring in a new partner, or get together with one of the other unpaired teammates.

Also, I think this would make a good matching with the LLD Arena East, if both this and the new ladder disqualifies rushing past norm I think that will really balance llding again. I read through it and its sounds pretty cool but you didnt mention anything else about hell rushing and I hope your putting a ban on it.

ya well since josh(cat) already posted my trapper id like to post my future barb Hephs_Hammer (pypride5) and future blizz sorc also do not know when they will be ready to duel but the sorc's name is ElenaOf_Dreams (pypride4)

and i agree with what cat is sayin on not allowing chars rushed past norm for this

if theres a team of 2 sorces and then a team of 1 sorc and somthing else and the team with only 1 sorc bann's teleport for the other team is it banned for them selves as well?

i don't under stand the 1 duel a week thing. u assign the time or we agree on a time? i've got work till 4pm and start school at 5 pm and it gets out at 11pm and thats monday-thursday. does this mean i won't be able to join this? or can accomidations be made for ppl who have schedualling conflicts that are known about ahead of time?

Pypride: I'm a bit confused? You're entering a team consisting of two characters that are both yours? In addition to your team with Cat? Could you please explain this a little more?

Rancid: Yes thats the point. Since there was such a hubbalo about teleporting the last time, and several people whom I would have liked to include didnt join because of it, I've decided to open it up a bit more. Two teleporting sorceresses on the same team would obviously have a huge advantage over everyone else. This rule is to discourage dual sorceress teams, and keep individual sorceress players happy

I will be matching up teams for the week. It is your responsibility to seek them out, find a time, and duel before the next week. This is because of the problem we had with the Tournament. Several people had to leave, or did not show, because of the time setting. Giving teams the opportunity to have thier duels over the course of one week allows more people to participate.

And lastly, characters may pass normal, as I have specifically left that line out of the rules.

ya sry about the confusion but im entering my trapper with josh but i might switch out my trapper with either my barb or my sorc if that's ok but if not then just keep the trapper but both sorc and barb r still WIP (work in progress)

Menshin: Sorry, but healers doing 400-500 instant life replenish is far too much, and just isnt fair for a 2v2 matchup.

what about fury druid? Razz

and MB/trap asn, or a trap/kick hybrid.

I think you probably can include melee chars in the playground, since WW barb is in it too, and assuming anyone would even want to use them anyway.
