can someone tell me where i should look to get best results? Wink

looking for: jewels/charms/amus/rings mostly... but also the socketables would be nice, like war sceptors with +def/sac/might

socketables = norm/nm cows

jewels/charms = catacombs level 2-3, sewers, tomb runs. all normal.

rings/amulets = andy with an andy bugged sorc. to get the andy bug, make a new sorc, and do every act1 quest in order, including imbueing an item (just to be safe).

does it have to be a sorc or any char ?

also will this mfing work with like a high level char or must it be one thats low level and able to kill andy ?

I'm pretty sure any character and it can be done the same in other difficulties.

itll work at any level as long as you did all the quests in order in act 1 first, before any others. and you can do it for all 3 difficulties.

it doesnt HAVE to be a sorc, but they are the fastest since they already have teleport.

So by doing all of the quests in order it bug's something? How does that make sense, and what gets bugged, the drops?

Yeah Voices, explain this. I have heard reference to it before but never really got the gist of it. I thought I heard that the character had to stay in act1 after doing that and just kill Andy over and over again but never move on to Act2. If it is just a character that has done the quest in order then my origional Zon can do it because I played her all the way through normal and nightmare doing every quest in order one after another.

One thing they didn't add. If you are looking for stuff to socket or with sockets and eth items it is better to do the cow levels with zero MF on.

Hey, I have also found that the Flayer Dungeon tends to drop 1-2 rare jewels every few runs..maybe its just my luck but i found this out about a week ago. im only using 100mf as well

Just tried it with that Zon I was speaking of. Did from Catacombs WP to Andy. Got 1 x sc 1 x lc 1 x gc (all junk) 2 x rare ring.

ring #1
1 dex
2 str
PL reduded by 25%

ring#2<-------Not too shabby
52AR
2 Str
CR 15%
FR 5%
PL reduced by 25%

also u do get gems/runes

I just did that and i get normal drops after, I went through every quest in order, including the item imbue one.

did you talk to warriv and goto act 2 after you killed andariel?

at any rate, if it isnt working for you, you did it wrong. i have a level 43 normal difficulty orb sorc that is andy bugged, and i get atleast 4 rare items and occassionallt a set item or unique every drop.

Hm, I might consider making one of these. Does MF matter at all on this? I have skullders, occy, shako etc lying around that I can't seem to trade away. Hopefully these will be useful.
