I'd like to make a charger, either lvl 18 or 27, to kill higher level characters. I toyed with the idea of going HC, but decided that I counk twink him much better in SC.

Can anyone give me advice on level, gear, skill point allocation for this character?

most chargers i see on ladder east are level 30 (ethereal up'd bonesnap) with charms and that weapon that get like 6.5k+ charge dmg but if you wanna go level 27 i'd just use a plain ol honor knout. knout because it has a bigger range than naga or divine i believe and having big range is cool for chargers. I'm probably not the one to listen to as i have never made an lld pally- i'm just going by what i see work in lld games

You're talking about damage, right? I wouln't go to 30 because I want to be able to use it in clan-honor duels as well. I'd actually prefer level 18, more likely to be underestimated that way, but I'm not sure if I'd have enough equipment options open to make a really good dueler. assuming i went to level 27, what other gear should i use besides the honor knout, and where should my skill points go?

I already have a level 15 zealot that I use on the lvl 9-25 or so crowd, and a lvl 30 FoH pally for the ones my zealot can't handle. Unfortunately, if people go much above 40 they tend to get really good lighting res, and I can't get them with my lvl 1 + skills conviction. Cyclone armor druids are real bitches too. I want to make a charger that can take on the lvl 56 or so necros that prey on my pubby dueling games.

I figure I'll stick with 27 for honor, and use an honor naga I have already as my primary weapon (I checked, both knout and naga have range 3). For casters I'm planning on a lance (range 5), either honor or socketed with 6 jewels of some sort. But that's as far as I've gotten, I don't know what else to wear Confused

theres the regular gear...

sanders boots, bloodfists, deaths belt, twitchrow. try to get a nice +1 paladin/30frw/20fhr criclet with life and mana, if not, i guess just use a max dmg mask (or pcrown if you really need the frw and +skill, with either pruby or maxdmg jewel) im not sure if ar matters for charge, since iv never made a charger, but if it does, obviously use angelics, if it doesnt use sojs or +stat/life rings and +skill/stat/life amulet. for a shield, use steelclash or rhyme (clash i think would be better, for the res all and +skill, and you wont need the CBF, since you have deaths) if you get a nice rare shield with monks of deflecting mods, use that over all.

thats all i can think of.
with bloodfists/twitch you wont need any charms to hit the 48% fhr frame (frame 5, when using anything else than a spear or stave, frame 7 when using the latter). that makes for more life charm spots, or if you want to badly get the next frame, it makes getting 86% Fhr much easier. as i already said, keep in mind your FHR. when you use your spear, youll have a much lower frame of recovery than when you use your knout. you may want to have a few spare fhr charms in your stash to replace others with when you use your spear.

Yeah, I kinda just like paladins, for LLD anyway. For my lance on switch, should I 'Honor' it?
