Damn I cant wait to get it. Ive seen alot of reviews, and single player mode is lacking in missions. Its short and quick. However they say it makes up for it in its Multiplayer mode (Ive never been a fan of single player anyways).

But the graphics and sounds look so real. Options are numerous, Good hiding/tactics involved. Im also a huge fan of the sniper so hiding behind or above things is one of joys. Gah it looks so cool, ive never seen a review say anything negative about it yet, short of its short single player mode. After awhile you gain experience in battle and when you collect enough you can create custom characters with certain starting weapons/abilities. They dont overpower this so its not like a starting character has no hope, but they make it so that you have a variety of options such as more running/bigger explosives/better weapons/etc.

The SP mode is a little "short" but playing it on the harder difficulties more than makes up for it - the game is fucking INCREDIBLE.

Playing it on the hardest difficulty is pretty much the only thing i've played that can to some small degree represent the true hecticness of battle.

its definitely worth buying since halo 3 sucks just a little bit. online play is way fun. sp is great too.

but if you want to wait for the most EPIC multiplayer fps ever, then save your money for Unreal Tournament III.

This game is SOOOOO badass online, it's addicting as fuck.

I honestly don't even know where my H3 disc is this game is so amazing, I just hurled it behind the couch or something.

but ive had multiple ppl buy computers just to run CoD:4 and/or Bioshock

I never liked the CoD series, and frankly I think this game is ok.

I dislike being able to shoot through walls. I know it's realistic, but it takes away strategy. Let's bad people pretend their good.

People rave about this game's graphics, but it's alot like WoW. The entire map is one color generally... not that hard to make concrete look good if that's all you're doing.

Halo 3's a good game, but too much of the same thing... which is why I haven't played it much. Maybe if Bungie decided to make more maps the game would be better...
