For whatever reason, I'm found alot of LLD games that *gasp* actually had low levels in it. And not just kinda low levels (levels 30-35) but level 12-21s. However, I noticed that pretty much every dueler in every game with those levels that does well is a zeal pally. I got to thinking and I can't come up with something to take them down at that level short of making my own, and I find them boring.

In a melee duel the only thing that gives my 18 Pally a challenge would be a VERY good 21 Jabber or an 18 Conc barb. ThatGuy's barb has beaten me occassionally but my zealer wins probably 9/10.

A throw barb would probably be your most consistant zealer killer if you dont mind fighting melee with ranged.

If your on East and when I get my home connection working again i'll gladly help you test out any zealer killer ideas on my pally.

uhh my throw barb crushed every zealer i faced not ones killed me ever..
but throw barbs have problems against kickers.

and ive noticed that ele druids do well against Cs zons oh and Cs zons take zealers easy also.

when did i say this.. i was talkin bout the LLD-Throwbarb thing i was describing my old old old barb.

this one i was talkin bout my 1.10 barb that was lvl 29. he had hard times with lvl 35 kickers and cs zons stuff liek that. but he owned zealers.

He wanted advice for beating an 18 zealer around that kind of level, I have yet to meet a great 18 throw barb, but potentially they could cause my pally problems with a hit and run tactic.

i am sure that a level 18 bear using khalim can beat 18 zealers, cause my level 14 bear druid probably killed about 90% of the 18 zealers i met on him, ever. and that was with level 9 jewels and level 14 charms. If you make him level 18 and get the 18 jewels/17 charms and level 16 charms if you want some more damage, then they can probably beat the extra 10% of zealers that i couldnt

A level 18 defiance smiter with CB/OW could make mincemeat out of a good zealot.

Level 18 fire sorc might (keyword: MIGHT) work out, providing teleport comes into play.

Charger, duh.

Considering the choices above, unless the bear actually works, you only have a chance with cheapo range tactics. I love level 18 dueling though, reminds me of the good ol' days. I actually beat a 76legit veteran with my level 18 somehow Very Happy

his 24 concer vs my 18 concer, but that's a different story.

My concer is level 19 now Embarassed

but no one minds...I hope...

Ah, but notice you're a level 17 smiter, once level 18 comes into play, more things become available Wink
