O/T: does eth runes work in pvp?

i socketed my kicker's claw with 2 eth runes, will they work in pvp? my mate disagree's. |

They don't remove base % defense like everyone thinks it removes total % defense which means it cuts from added bonuses like iron skin/shout/holy shield/etc not from the defense itself. _________________  |

Exactly. So, if my zealot has 1k defense and +250% def from Holy Shield, your 2 eth runes will lower it to 1k defense and +225% def from Holy Shield. It's not that they don't work - they are just not exactly useful. As a kicker, you're much better served in pumping up Attack Rating or getting some Open Wounds/Crushing Blow into your weapons. lpb _________________ Gas, Grass, or @ss - Nobody Rides Free.
