I dont think that we duel each other enough in lld101 and pubby games just arent as fun anymore. i duel about the same 5 people over and over again and they are all turning into cookie cutter builds. i have never been in a tournament until last night/this morning in the iron man and i thought it was super fun. every friday/saturday night we should try to hold a new one or do team duels or just hold a tournament to see who has the best melee, caster, or specific character class. i think we have enough people on this forum that atleast 5 or 6 of us can show up at one time. im sure if we have more of these going on, there will be more people interested in low level dueling and making their characters better or more team oriented.

i really liked the iron man thing..

.... we just need some dinky 100 dmg enchanter to help the leveling.

id like to do an iron man once a month.. maybe twice.

if we had an enchanter i just dont think it would be the same with lvling. the thrill of being able to die at any second would be gone. however it may be needed for the people who take 20 mins more to get to lvl 9 than all the other people. Wink

mabe also to put a little more challenge/variety in the builds somone could donate between 5-10k gold to each participant in helping them put gear together. if you have any other ideas feel free to contribute.

I would sure join an iron man competition from time to time. Oh btw, is that on hc or sc?

i cant garuntee id be at every single one, but if i had no plans, id come out for a friday/saturday night of dueling.

the thing with enchanting, is it would allow everyone to kill in 1 hit. people would then go off on their own leveling, with no fear of dying, and then the drops wouldnt be FFA.

we could try it once, but the idea of scooping a good rare amulet right from under someone elses nose in an iron man, is part of what makes it fun to me. the leveling with each other, is half the fun. the dueling is the other half.

1) people might venture off from the crowd. but his happended anyway

2) people will kill anything easily.. but not if the enchant is only for 100 dmg,, and its not like it gives 75% block and 1000 life donchyaknow.

3) people will seperate too much, but we have no wps. it can t be that bad..

4) we might actually make it to dark wood and then rescue cain.. RINGS FOR ALL!!!! yeah!!! then trading Smile

i think we would stick together,

id stick with yall to manage the tougher champ unique crowds and yoink as well... im just saying a lil help from some dinky sorc we put together would help but time down like 1/3

ya know what.. im gonna go into HC and make a chanter.. hopefully i get rush and not killed before i can get a few skills into her Smile

i was going to suggest you make one jerka, if you want some help looking for some items, i dont mind leveling with you (id be making a first character too). just let me know when youd be on.

but theres a flaw to your plan. whoever has the enchanter, would never be enchanted. so thered always be 1 out of 8 that didnt have the fire dmg.

also, +100 fire dmg enchant, would be level 20 (74-97 dmg) or level 21 (80-104). and would last for 10 minutes, or 10 minutes and 24 seconds. i looked at the clock when i finished leveling, and we started dueling, and it was an hour and a half after we started. who feels like leaving and getting their enchanter 8 times every iron man, possibly getting realm down in the process?

i have two computers, so i can do it.. thats why im so pro idea about it.

i just spent 1 hour leveling a sorc.. and .. then i realized it wasnt HC.... Rolling Eyes

well, even with 2 computers, with one enchantress in the game, you can only have 7 people participating in the ironman.

is this just an 8 player event... no exceptions?

we had the pleasure of both voices and knarl in the last ironman... so as long as both of you are participating,, we can have two rooms

if we got 12 or 16 people, there'd be 2 games. theres no point in playing with only 3 people. you need an even amount, as you could see, 7 screwed us up. since 1 person automatically got sent to the second round without having to win first. either 6 or 8 people its worth playing with. any other amount and its a waste of time.
