Barb vs Caster. They don't win BvB duels against their specialist cousins, but they can take anything else head on. The only characters I can think of that they have trouble against are the best hammerdins, bone necros (especially if they decrep), and maybe fire sorcs.

They use Enigma and CoA, too. Huuuuge life, 7k+, easy. Over 9k if they're into leveling and prebuffing.

it really depends, like lld theres nothing that can beat everything
it also depends if you are talking 1 vs 1 or in team duels, bm or gm
hammerdins, sorcs, barbs, necs, ele druids, and trappers are all good
if its bm i'd put my money on a hammerdin or barb, but in gm things are different
ele druids and trappers can beat hammerdins in gm

Heh,...i'd have to put my money on a V/T, and a Hammer/Foh Paly. Dueled both, and they are both SOB's
BTW, i have a BvC and they are one of the better chars out there. Although he is lacking in some places to defeat melee's, he can get around 15-18k ar, 18k def using WW, 25k using conc, and has max block...

Libby
V/T
3 best HLD'rs IMO. Only problem is they are very expensive and hard to duel with. But once your good nothing will be able to stand in your way.

You're just biased towards pallies, Squall!
Oh, I forgot about CS Zons. Duh! They're awesome, ask anyone. Why would Matrony invest so much into a fruitless venture if it were not so?

I think at high lvls the CS Zon is about one of the worst chars. Seems you love CS Zons but with stacked res, even without t-gods the damage is laffable.
My only decision on fighting a cs zon is should I type !oh that tickles or kill them with either smite or zeal before they run back to town and cry "sorber". If you can be easily caught and your primary means of damage can be absorbed then by logic, you cannot be listed with other classes which have substantial advantage over most. This goes for any char that does ele dmg as its primary attack, REGARDLESS of equipment.
As far has how I stack it up,
1. BVC
2. Windy/Hammer (tie)
3. everything else
I'd say these 3 beat MOST everything in the game. Again we are talking GODLY builds, no trash. Honorable mention should go to a ghost and/or boner nec, very effective vs all types of chars.

You forget the one part that makes a bvc barb so effective: leap. They put enough pts into leap to make the radius stretch the entire length of the screen, leap around, get their opponent in stun-lock, tele on them, ww, boom.

honestly if you can aim and not just well but with crazy accuracy a hammerdin is the only char you will need but for the rest of us a bvc works wonders

Yeah, I was just bringing in sarcasm from the "Best Overall LLD" thread. It's pretty obvious CS is a great PvM against bosses, but it just can't stand up against high resists and absorb in PvP, even if someone completely masters the farcast CS trick. CS zons suck at any level in PvP - they're just noob killers, and at best, they can give GM duelers a tough time in between levels 49 and 57.
Uh, I was going to post more like question how BM affects the Ele Druid vs Hammerdin matchup, but I have class. Tough luck!
