I want to state that its also a smart idea to have a nice range 4-5 two hander on switch/stash for caster duels (mainly hammers/sorcies/smiters). Best being a perf eth Tomb Reaver (mine is sheal+sheal+zod atm) since it has great dmg, hits the 4 frame mark, and can have a potential of 50 all resist.

As for the spirit thing, after a bit resummoning it becomes a reflex almost, at least for me. And yes, if someone keeps going after my spirit before me, i use that knowledge to my advantage and nail them with my two hander (11k dmg) then if they're still alive, and depending on what they are, i may switch back to my 1h sheild and finish them off.

From what ive seen fury druids are wonderful chars for pking hammerdins who only tele, the charging dynsc ones are bit harder. Most of them dont last more than 2 swipes, though i did run into one that took me 4.

Good luck,

-Anderson

I vouch for this: if u cant get eth, a Shael/Shael/Lo also works very nicely

as Pally-Anderson said, hammerdins=easy, and if your a good turn on a dime-runnner windys can be quite easy to. also, smiters=easy (if they dont charge) psn necros=easy..

(for smiters to stupid to charge: use Walk only: once every 2-3 seconds (Fury on left click) do a Shift+left click when the smiter is right behind you. I have killed so many idiots that way. (using a eth tombreaver) (PM me for more info on killing idiots.)

you DO NOT go after oak/how in gm melee duels.

there, i bolded the important part of my statement. if you dont care about that, then dont ever expect to be gm'd by a melee druid.

personally, i jump, nk, goldsteal, and team up against people who do that to my oak after ive told them not to.

Dumbest thing i've ever heard.

It's just strategy. I think of someone NKing a FoH Pally because he lowers your resists when you tell him not to.

it may be strategy, but it aint gm. what the hell part of that is so hard to understand? GOOD MANNERED PEOPLE DONT DO IT. does that help? i dont care if you kill my oak, just dont expect me to be gm afterwards.

Says you.

Has anyone considered that unique Fanged knife? If I remember right it had some pretty impressive stats(CB,DS,OW), but not IAS.

You're the only person I've ever heard of saying that killing the sage is bm. Just like Vixen said, that's strategy. You crying and bitching would just make me do it more.

Killing a druids spirit bieng bad manners has to be one of the dumbest things ive heared. Spirits die so easy they are nothing more then a distraction. If your wolf is dependent on a spirit then you need to rethink your build.

Killing Oak is BM in melee duels, it's fine with casters though.

Grief and BotD are also good weapon choices. In fact Grief is probably the best even though you don't hit 4 frame. It's just not allowed in druidpk and frowned upon by all the .09 players.

Fort is the best armor.

It sucks, cause fury used to be the build to show off your godly cruel xx of quickness and godly jeweled unshoppable armor, and now runewords are better.

What kind of charms do u use? Due to my build, i use all ss gc's (working on getting 30+ lifers) and i myself hit about the 3k range (depending on the set up). I know a guy however who hits around 6k w/o his oak Shocked and 10 ish with it. heh. needless to say i have a bit of catching up to do with him.

And I personally dont consider kill my spirit BM, if they keep going at it use it as a strategical knowledge and pk them for show their chink in their armor. If you want to avoid it dying in melee type duels, just duel in nm, he's immune to physical there Very Happy Besides, i wouldnt completely rely on something that could disappear at a moments notice, id advise you to do the same.
