It doesnt say its not allowed in the rules, but I've never seen it before. I know the community shuns ebaying, but is selling/buying allowed here?

isnt there a rule against commercial use of forum space? or perhaps it was a rule against advertising...i dont know

both myself, and knarl personally dont like the idea of people selling items on this site for money. its not like sojs or runes, where if you get scammed, it was just a picture for another picture and we can ban the scammer. this is REAL money we;re talking about, and if someone is scammed, they will actually lose something REAL other than just the time it took to get the item.

that is our stance on trading items for money. you may not do it on this site, but you may link to an ebay post, or something like that. no monetary bidding may take place in a thread created for this purpose.

Well I for one dont think buying items is a good idea but if you think about it say you buy some godly helm that would of taken u 5 hours of game play to find and you get it for $10, but the person scams you and you end up losing $10. If you have a job and make even $5 an hour you only lost 2 hours or if you traded 30 sojs for it and got scammed it could of taken you 5 or 6 hours to get them. So either way your realy just losing time in a different form.

But I do think buying items is dumb and should not be done... selling is fine in my eyes everyones gotta make money right? Cool
