hmm, i was planning on using holy freeze merc with insight. but my paladin is going to probably have around 1200 life, since i have no cta and no life charms. so, a prayer merc with insight would probably be a better choice to keep me alive eh? also, i never knew about +skills adding to the mercs skill level, so if i give him a lore helm or something like that, thatll boost his prayer skill and meditation, correct? _________________

the meditation on 'insight' doesn't give any points to prayer thought does it? I just want to make sure I understand what you are saying, you can get double prayer from pumping prayer and using meditation (from insight) and cleansing? _________________

I think he's refering to prayer aura from the merc synergizing the meditation aura from insight, kinda like using HoJ with maxed resist fire. exactly.. and as far as getting double prayer from his prayer and insight it does work in SP. Prayer adds itself as a syngery to meditationa and clensing. u can get replenish from prayer/clensing/meditation all at the same time and the replenish amount for each aura is the prayers amount. unlike other syngeries, prayer is not limited to skills u manually placed in it. +skills will increase it as a syngery too. so its possible to get a huge slvl40 prayer adding into clensing or meditation. the merc can reach slvl 18 prayer by lvl 55 if u hire him in normal. hired in hell he is set at slvl 16 prayer forever. with as much +skill gear and war cry as possible i think about 23 is the limit he can reach. the meditation gets the replenish from his inherint prayer skill, and when he turns on Prayer itself will have both prayer and meditation on just from him. u may have up to 10 auras in 1.10 fade, bos, and cries, could, or might not,,count towards this aura limit. im 50/50 on that idea... neither would surprise me however. also u cannot have double of the same aura, the stronger of the two will overide the weaker. if u put an insight on your paladin, and pump prayer up super high with +skills to about 40,,, then use clensing aura on him with the insights meditation turned on, u will get slvl 40 prayer twice (once thorugh your clensing aura and again through the meditation from insight).. then the merc can turn on his prayer, for the third source of replenish
u cannot boost the insights aura level, the item sets meditation at whatever it is. the reason ud stick the insight on you and not the merc is because only your paladin can reach slvl 40 prayer wich gives 77 life in 2 seconds. your merc will be limited to about slvl 23 prayer. but its up to u if u want to go for BIG double replenish and use an insight.. or just let your merc do a lower level double healing and u stick with your prefered killing arua like fanata or conc.
no prayer doesnt have syngeries.. it only give itself as a syngery to med and clensing i hope this answers your confusion _________________ Magic missile doesn't kill people, wizards who cast magic missile kill people.  |

any mana using person could have this on switch to regen mana hella qik so dtm at higher lvls woouldnt be necasary. |

you could always make the runeword on open by just adding the mods one by one using an editor if you want to test them. _________________
