team dueling can leave you from anywhere from 2-4 people. i think it should be the teams choice. set it at allowed max of 3, and if people want to go with 2, then they can. my point was, everyones going to find the team that works the best, and pretty soon everyone will have the same charteam.

Teams of two would mean like.. 20 teams? thats too many. I think teams of 3 is perfect.

2 melee, 1 ranged
2 ranged, 1 melee

we needa make that decision up
#1 team cannot deny

come on people, lets show interest, I know if we get people to start they'll see it's fucking oodles of fun, and it will explode, just like my diariah.

To eliminate "cookie-cutter" teams...we could ban oak and BO from being used in conjunction, and probably it would be good to ban Lower resist and convict from being used at the same time also. Also, maybe consider making it so only 1 character of each type per team. So no teams of 2 necros and 1 barb for example...

Then you'd have to ban HoW and Might, and HoW and conc....

I really like this idea, I don't know why this post died. And spazz banning How and might/ How and conc is only 2 extra rules, not a rulefest. It hink Spazz's original idea combined with Knarl's additions makes it a possibility for great fun. but I think the first step isn't making the teams or w/e it's getting more peolpe to know about this site and come here, so that we can have more participants! i think 3vs3 sounds good and i think like 10 teams would be awesome but you'd need a lot more people to join this site and read this post. This goes against everything a stand for but maybe you guys need a spam bot on east and west ;P I think that all of knarl's ideas about balancing it out like no 2 of the same char ban bo/oak in conjunction are great it sounds very promising! The only thing i think could go wrong is that I think giving BO to a good sorc or necro can make them unstoppable so if one team has a BO's sorc or necro and the other team doesn't... it's obvious who is going to win. If we can think of some ways to get around certain chars being too powerful and allof the teams having the same char build... we should really do this!

I think there should be a new poll, stating that we like the idea, but all credit for the idea goes to Knarl or Jesus or Ghandi or something. The poll would be to whom the credit goes to.

Oh come on, cut Spazz some slack. Just because he's a crazed human being who hates everyone/everything for no apparent reason, doesn't mean we should steal credit for his idea. Right now, it's apparent that it's all vs Spazz in these forums.

Spazz, why don't you act normal for once? GL finding a team partner with that kind of attitude =/. The only person who would ally with you is either some noob who worships your godliness on your llders or someone who beat you over and over.

What's with all this talking? Why don't we put this idea into action? And if it takes action, do we make a new sticky thread posting the rankings on this, with the different classes and such?

and he thinks i'm pretty much the coolest guy on the planet. And I don't fight against Spazz for any reason really other than it's fun cause when you're fighting against Spazz it's impossible to lose cause everyone takes your side ;D Spazz was one of my first lld friends that I made, and without him I wouldn't have made my level 24 conc barb Fatal-Existence in .09 and that was one of my favourite characters ^-^. Spazz is actually funny and cool if he respects you but if he doesn't then he is 100% uncool. anywho, ya make this sticky o.O I want this to happen. But we need more members first. Team dueling is something that I haven't had very much experience with, which is why I think it makes me so excited about it. I've only done like four team duels in lld and 3 of them were 2vs2 -.-. I'm dying for some 3/4vs3/4 or 8 person free for all lld duels. If anyone can arrange anything like that on ladder east, or set me up a crappy mf sorc on west so I can start myself off on west and do it there Razz

haha then please do it! Because team lld is something i want to do, but I'm not well known enough to start anything, except maybe on east scl but who cares about that anyways.
