I KNOW THIS WONT GET MUCH ATTENTION
but i and a few others as well belive to be truly melee at vlld u need ar cause that inables u to hit your opponent.Smiters on the other hand dont need any and they hit every time as well,which isnot a fair bais for melee.
Now on the other hand amp damage at lvl 9 as well has been considered bm for many years but nothing has been done about that as well,it gives who ever has the amp wep severe advantages(yes i own some as well but never use in a gm duel) im just tring to keep every thing on a = playing field for us all imo

There are perks to being any type of char. If you keep a build from being the best, another will take its place. Whats next? Ban it. Your argument is a slippery slope that will eventually result in the only "fair" match is two naked characters reduced to only using bare hands.

On amp, who considers it BM "for years". If amp is on your weapon, more power to you. If the opponent wants to cry about it, he should have incorporated it into his build. GM and BM are very opinion based; when writing rules you can't look at that. Your argument is moot if you cannot separate how you feel from it.

Btw, the rules have changed multiple times in the past 4 years.

there are a few ways to negate vlld smiters quite a bit, and jabbers eat them alive afaik. not sure, i preferred the open category, but will the lvl 12 stuff we just have to accept the kill triangles.

there does not seem to be any rule on amp in the VLLD section.. i like amp myself, but not everyone can use amp to the same advantage as another

the amper cheers when it triggers early, then complains when it doesnt go off claiming it grossly ruins their character if its unlucky. also for tournies imo there is something a bit unfair if we require opponents accept amp when it triggers on them
we have a running on case by case basis. that can get tough to evaluate imo
amendment 3) "you may NOT avoid amp"

thats almost bs to require people take it. if its one thing if it goes off and *BAM* 2 hits get in before you can get away...... its another thing to have a rule stating you must toe-to-toe 100% when amp goes off. at the same time the amper feels cheated if the opponents does walk around to shake it off. tough to regulate

as for u dont have a vlld, 2nd i do have amp wep's and saying its more unfair to others casue the majority of the time it does fire (and nakied duels imp come on now just being a ass) amp will blow out ppl all the time if on a wep im not saying for a sac /amp necro. but all others that can get amp on there weps.

as for smiters (unblockable hits) no need ar to hit. all other melee's needs ton of ar to hit anything. im talking about vlld not lld.(thats some 1 elses bag of beans) cause id love to hit with out any ar as well maybe either the get put in a diff catagory? or just removed from list?. (other wise well all just make smiters and person with the most 15 life lcs will win no time, research, skill needed, pointless build?...)) i dont know thats y this is a poll.

smite is a finicky thing as far as being melee.... and you could argue forever. I usually just assume anything over lvl18 that smites is ranged. Under 18 it could get annoying, but thats what switch throw weapons are for? I still don't really feel its melee, but I can see why its been allowed up to now.

I'd rather see details about allowing more weird lvl12 builds to be vialbe (ie dragon claw... i know jerk had a post up a while ago).

oh, are you asking about banning smite, and amp as well? 2 different things to vote on IMO, can't lump them together.

I voted soley on amp, but i'd vote allow smite as well.

sole purpose maybe to I said something stupid as melee or can find some middle gound on that , now for amp maybe some type of restrictions for using amp? or some type of restriction for using a smiter thats what i want opions as well as the votes
