ok so i have converted my little hdin into a hybrid smiter with some good switch gear for smite. +2pcomb/life/mana/dr ammy, and likewise circlet, bloodfists, gob toes, +3conc scepter 5 shaeld, 2 sojs and string.

currently using twitch(sol'd) to achieve 6fpa smite oh and spirit akaran rondache. i dueled a pure fanat smiter who had about 600max smite dmg.
i have 200max.. and he beat me each time out of 5 having less than 4% life left...

for pubs sake should i use rockfleece (sol'd/shael'd) to further help null pure smiters dmg or stick with twitch? i cant go all sol'd helm and stuff cos i need the +skills.

too make up for the low damage, maybe use sol'd rattlecage for more cb

I'm assuming you're lvl 29 because you're using Conc instead of Fana, so if I were you I'd use a Rhyme Barbed Shield or a 1+ Paladin skills Barbed Shield of Deflecting.

If you're level 30 then upped Swordback is a good choice.

im using conc cos im a hdin and it makes me look like a weaker smiter (which i am) however i chose spirit akaron for the vita fhr and shit like dat, plus i could always throw a hammer or 2 out to fend off gangers hehe

im happy with my wep choice cos its delivered awesome results and shield also looks sexy imo...
ill test out the rattlecage idea and/or try to get a plus 3 fanat ws to allow for more choice in armours and to make up the 20ias lost from not wearing twitch.
does open wounds really make a diff in smite v smite? its generally ova pretty quickly, i think it would work better vs runners like casters and such.

i think the reason i also almost killed a full blown smiter was cos of the awesome fhr on spirit... have urself some spirits! Salute'

Try an upp'd Swordback. I consider those > Spirits.

Fhr is pointless on a smiter.

The only way i think you could beat a pure smiter with a hybrid would be to use your other skill or max out on sol gear, which is lame anyway but meh. Smite/Hammer is a very strange combo imo.

im thinking of getting a fast amp stick /w holy freeze to bm bmers lol or just use a lifetap kris..
anyways back on track ill try use an upd swordsback so i can get a helping hand from OW, should i Sol this?
