|
i want to make a defence pally, but my gear is so hard to get at lvl 9, can i make him lvl 12 and get away with dueling lvl 9s?
can i still enter tournaments labeled "vlld"

simple answer: nope.
right now (in a laid back fashion), rampage, jerkazoid, and i (with some chip ins from others) are trying to work out a vlld ruleset similiar to the lld one so that more off the wall builds can be seen. here's the link, please contribute your thoughts on it if you'd like, all help is, well, helpful.

No self repair tho, but I was like : o_O

well, that armor wasn't that good anyway.
the 2 main mods to look for on an eth ancient armor are repair (of course) and 2 sockets. other good mods to have would be %enhanced def, life, +stats.

You can't buy back ethereal items from vendors anyway. Same goes for gemmed/runeword items...they take it and hide it, basically.

there are 3 "important" mods, not 2
repair, 2 sockets, AND -15% requirements.

there are 3 "important" mods, not 2

Ease Requirements -20% Body Armor(15), Shields(15), Weapons(15)
Simplicity Requirements -30% Body Armor(25), Shields(25), Weapons(25)
i don't see any mods that grant -15 reqs and -20 reqs is too high a level for level 9.
