I *wish* I was as cool as Steve Carrell. However, I have better looking friends than he did in that movie. And I don't collect toys. Although I *do* have the transmetal Optimus Primal Transformers figure, but that's just because that figure is one cool metal monkey.

My new job is a well-paying corporate white collar deal up in SF. Since Breakbeatz is gone, someone needed to step up and assume the "rich white male who arrogantly drops hints about how much more money he has than you in every post he makes" job, and I aim to be that man.

Lol no lies about the friend part, and if its a monkey it has to be cool.

Wasnt BB a accountant or something that squandered his money on ebay for d2 items? I thought I saw roy post something like that awhile back. Was he rich?

Maybe I'm just weird. But school can be fun if you look at it in a positive way, since you're going to be there. Might as well enjoy it?

BB worked in finance, but he was a little vague about it. He was probably a glorified CPA, although he'd probably call it being "a financial manager" or some such. He also claimed to be quite wealthy. How wealthy? The answer was usually "richer than you". It rarely mattered who the "you" was.

But yes, for all his "awesome" life, fast cars, hot women and loads of cash, he still spent hours eBaying VLLD items and laboriously building duelers he never even used. Confused

Is anybody else looking forward to going back to school? It'll be my last year as an undergrad and I don't want it to end. I guess that's what's graduate school is for.

on a programe like dr phill or something there was a guy who had 3majors and 3minors and had been doing undergrad courses for 10 years Wink

I seem to remember reading a story of a guy who was in school for an obscenely long time. He had x majors and y minors. He managed to keep his GPA quite high despite being in school for so long. Might have been the same person. From what I remember the school he went to instituted a tiered tuition system where if you had more than a certain number of credits, you had to pay a higher tuition. Needless to say this person finished his semester and left.

As for me, this will be my 4th and final year in undergrad followed by hopefully only 5 years (2 for M.S., 3 for PhD) of grad school. No intention of staying in school forever.
