I think that the "One-Handed Damage: 3 to 19" ruins the weapon. Even if you used two 24 maximum damage jewels it'll end up as "One-Handed Damage: 3 to 67". You'd end up using a 6 socketed crystal sword with 6 ith runes than that weapon with two 24 maximum damage jewels. I think it would be useful for socketing it with shael runes and using it for smiting (The "5% Chance To Cast Level 1 Amplify Damage On Striking" is the reason why I thought it would be useful for smiting because you can't miss when you smite). It would also be useful for smiting because it already has 20% Increased Attack Speed and Very Fast Attack Speed. This would be much better than using a 6 socketed war axe with shael runes. In conclusion, I disagree with PaulRishell's opinion (No offence). If you wanted to use a rare weapon with a chance to cast Amplify Damage for a "melee" weapon, I recommend a weapon with nice one-handed damage (I'm using a nice level 25 rare battle hammer with chance to cast Amplify Damage, and the maximum one-handed damage was 130 something). You can also experiment with that weapon. Good Luck.

*Come to think of it, I want one for my smiter as well, but a 2 socketed war scepter with 2 to combat skills and at least 1 to fanaticism would be better. Lol. Mr. Green
