Ok I was playing with my def smiter and I was usign an ethereal 15% ed (dont know why i just liked the idea of it being perf, even if it didnt help me) and it has steel in it, anyways in game it ran outa durability, and broke, but it still triggered the open wounds and still ahd the same speed...can someone explain this to me?

yep

smite wastes durabilty on wpn .. but u still get its effect when in breaks. however im damn sure if unequip it.. then your screwed

hey godz when u tried it on open did it do the same thing....cause if it worked /w a normal attack y didnt it work /w that finisher that double swings the claws....strange....=\
