once you leave that game you can't summon the same golem though unless you use another item, right?

this is only for the richest of the rich...

Iron golems stay until they die, or they get unsummoned. The point is that iron golem charges dont exist on magic or rare items or for low or middle levels.

Wrong. Golems from necs stay, golems from charges disappear.

I knew a guy at the beginning of 1.10 who was a botter. The guy would spam my screen constantly (flist) with text showing the game he was creating.

One day, he asked me to help him xfer some stuff he had just got through botting. He xfered the runes and an axe onto his summon necro and...wait for it...

Accidentally made his BRAND NEW...NEVER BEEN SWUNG....beast axe into an Iron Golem. I didn't know the guy personally, he was just an occassional trading partner, so I laughed hysterically. The golem ended up dying to a random monster the very next game he tried.
