Soo, as i have been bitten by the WoW bug this christmas, i've tried to get my wealth up quickly as possible in order to start "llding" on WoW. So, here is my plan for a lvl 19 rogue, built for owning WSG.

Undead/Gnome

Cruel Barb
Cruel Barb (for hi dps, bonus to attack)
Blackened Defias Leather Gloves
Blackened Defias Leather Boots
Blackened Defias Leather Leggings
Blackened Defias Leather Armor
Blackened Defias Leather Belt
Green Tinted Goggles
Leather Shoulderpads
Meadow Ring of the Monkey
Meadow Ring of the Monkey

I will enchant all that i can with plus to agility. I'm going to aim for 20 percent critical, I'm going to have 5 in malice, 2 in improved sinister strike, and 3 in improved eviscerate. He will be able to take warriors head on with evasion, own clothies, and have no trouble with hunters cuz without range, theyre fried. The enchants will cost a lot, but my friends guild is pretty good, so i can hopefully get em for free. Also, all of that gear drops from deadmines, so I can make this guy on welfare even. Uhh, comments? Very Happy

thats cool, there are better items but im 2 lazy to post.

I plan on making a lvl 19 Mage.

I dont know anything about twinking on WoW, though i love twinks on EQ, i have a few. Ive got a level 25 rogue on EQ i let sit in the freeport arena, and wait for newbies or some decent leveled people to come into freeport.. lure them to the arena and then jump go into sneak mode, and backstab for 500-550 damage or so Razz

Fun stuff, you get some funny responses almost as good as the ones on D2 lol.

Your rogue does sound like it will do well, let us know how it turns out =)

And extremly insane because thats what level 40-45 Bs normally.. Razz

Oh by the way.. he was originally lvl 56.. then i got tired of him.. so i de leveled him all the way to lvl 25.. He has 140 AA's at level 25 Razz

but you could go nuts with a crusader enchantment on your weapon

Your gear choices are bad..

Skullcrusher has a HUGE HUGE HUGE 10-19, and 20-29 WSG player a base, and the economy for it is insane. Lots of the blues go for 100-200g easy.

Personally, I believe a hunter is the top choice for both 10-19, and 20-29 WSG.

In WC, there are blue pants that drop that spank Defias, which sucks TOTAL ass, the set bonuses are bad. You also get a better chest reward from defeating VC. Many more mistakes but I'd need to research.

Unless you want to dish out 400+g, don't bother. You'll suck.
20-29 is 600-700+g for a good one.

This is obviously server depending prices... I recently came across 1300g this week so I might make a twink, but to tell you the truth I don't feel like playing 5 hour WSG games when I still have characters to level and pvp with.

Also, get Stamina over agility. Trust me, when you go to backstab that paladin or shaman, and they don't even flinch, you'll want to live long enough to atleast annoy them.

Why does everyone twink Rogues, and nothing else? I think I would enjoy a twinked caster more than anything else, at least it would be a change from stealth and ambush over and over, though the rogues would tear it to pieces... Maybe a warrior would be fun.. disarm would own rogues...

Phsyical damage can be heightened much more than elemental, as is in D2 also.

Hunters are more popular than rogues anyway

Because casters get their more powerful spells with levels it just dosent work twinking them for that, though some casters you can twink like in everquest casters do get some clicky robes and items (clicky means it casts a spell or something when you click it) So you can take your lvl 15-25 to a lvl 60 area.. to get the no drop uber item.. but this is so much more troublesome.

Also the other choice would be to use the casters shielding spells and such, combined with good melee twink items..

Its just so much easier to make melee beefy Razz

IMO.. 300+ crit fire dmg > melee -___-
Now imagine that crit on a instant like Fire Blast.

On all twinks, ALL. You get max stamina. 9 Stamina enchants.

Assassination blade is a sword level 57.

You need to play a rogue before you considering twinking one.. you don't know much.
