I wrote a personal short story on my gaming days and how Diablo 2 nearly corrupted my life (I left the name of the game untold, I just referred to it as The Game throughout the story) when I was in high school, grade 11 english enriched (in Quebec, we only go up to grade 11 in secondary education). It was a very emotional piece. I got an 89 (or was it higher?) percent on my story.

Maybe if you put time, effort, and quality into your work, you could get a good mark AND satisfy your need to do a nerdy essay for the class.

o.O You guys are brutal.

Just about every paper that I could write whatever I want about I've written about games. I lie my ass off and sound like a massive nerd because it doesn't matter if you sound like a nerd to your teacher. What is s/he going to do, trip you after school and scream NERD in your face?

It's so easy to write forever about games because there is so much shit. If you get stuck you can just lie because your teacher most likely won't know the difference.
