i wasnt satisfied with my monk/elementalist so i made a new one which is now lvl 9 half way to 10. just got to new ascalon. name is Efled Maloren

and its not efled its efled. the typo was intentional Razz

X-Files[FBI] has reached lvl 17
outside Henge of Denravi (past Lions Gate)
i just finished Bloodstone Fen (that teleport quest was bs, lol, so fustrating)
and almost done with The Wilds (hiding from a big mean tree right now, lol)
I have gotten this far by just using Henchmen, but now it is time to party with others =) gettin tough

this is definetly the game for me now, diablo is dead to me, i have no urge to play it anymore. my retirement will come soon, so get that 1 balloon, many "who cares" Rolling Eyes

, and w/e's ready, cuz im out Laughing

Hey - I just bought it. Right now it's sitting in it's packaging on my floor. To be truthful, I'm kinda scared of installing it, because I suspect I will cease to have a life for the next month if I do.

But having said that... any suggestions for someone about to play the game? I looked over the website, and I waqs thinking my first character would be a mix of a combat/magic or healer design. Maybe a warrior/elementalist, or a ranger/monk. Something like that.

Anyway, any words of wisdom to help me make it past the earliest, noobish phase of a new player?

i made a ranger/monk. but now im wishing i had made a warrior/monk. every w/m i see is a tank, and just seems like fun.

made a warrior ranger now lvl 8 and i think its my fave so far.

I have a level 7 Ranger/Monk, beens pretty darn fun so far. I like the Ironmaiden-ish spells, using them then casting one of the healing over time oens works sooo well.

Oh, and I get a kitty!

I was thinking of getting a different pet...didn't feel like going to the collector though. Trying to do any quests that I can before I leave Pre-searing... or whatever it is.
