(i had to post this)

i entered a room to level for a few spare minutes. a Sorc was next to me and she tossed out some jewels

i hit "ALT" to take a gander and read with hesitation this to myself...
scarlet jewel of wraith

Shocked

i wondered if she cared....
nope.
... she just ran off to the wp and was gone.

i nabbed it and just stared at it for a while

4-9 dmg lvl 8

i asked if she knew what she had thrown out?
but after a few minutes i realized they didnt know english.

i left.

i didnt level at all
shucks..o well

If someone manually and willingly drops an item they have in their inventory, it's basically open game. So no thiefery there.

That happened to me once only someone dropped a Carbuncle jewel of Wrath and my heart nearly stopped, then I picked it up to find it was a +7 to max dmg jewel Laughing

I guess it got +1 and +6 Sad

I don't know anyone who doesn't throw away 7 max dmg jewels. My heart stopped because "Carbuncle jewel of Wrath" is one of the most sought after level 9 jewels because those mods can spawn as 14 to maxmimum damage for level 9 required. When I saw that it was 7 to max i dropped it back down obviously ^-^ (After a few curse words, mind you)

i keep everything from 5max up. you never know when youll come across some guy willing to pay good for shitty jewels. its happened before, itll happen again. also that way if i ever think of a build i want to test, i wont waste 9maxs on it.

I don't have room for all that stuff >.< Well I have mules, but I am too lazy to mule everything over. My laziness is the death of me that's why I don't have half the chars I should have, and also why I don't even save plain 9 max jewels anymore and the other day I didn't save a 10max/psn res jewel for lvl 9 :/ Too lazy and I can't think of anyone who would benefit from it cause any build who is gonna use all plain 9max or 10max jewels shouldn't end up being very good anyways. I only keep things that I am certain would be something that someone needs critically for their build someday. Because I'm just too lazy. Also why I'm failing half my classes Sad

I would rather have 14 max than 4-9
rather have 8min over 14 max
if we're takling all that one type of jewel for the entire build. If i have an entire max dmg build and i have 1 open slot left i would rather have 14 max over 8 min

:( bel, my lvl 14 necro uses just plain 9's for his test build. he does fairly well.

550 dmg before amp shall i say?
