You know those monsters in act 5 that usually spawn in the crystalline passage and worldstone lvl 3? The flying ones that throw that redish star-like thing at you? Well, they also do that annoying curse that converts all mana-using spells into life-using spells. So if you use a spell that costs 30 mana while you have that curse on you, it won't cost 30 mana, it'll cost 30 life. I call it blood mana, dunno if there's a real name for it.

Anyway, would it be possible for a necro to revive one of these enemies and use it in PvP...and would it use that curse on other players? Or do only the real-life versions do that?

I know for a fact that those Succubi do use they're other curse to lower defense regularly on opposing monsters. This is probably because the Blood Mana curse is only used on targets that have more mana than life.

So, if you can find a dueler with more mana than life, it should trigger. However, I think most duelers have more life than mana.

This would only be effective against spellcasters [mainly]... And the Succibi die easily!

I know you have to have more mana than life, but if that was the case...would it work in PvP? Does anyone have a necro w/ revive and can test it out on someone who has more mana than life?

cool yes, practical no.

the succubi died in 1 bone spirit. and it seems kind of cheap to me to rely on a revives curse to win. shows smart thinking, but no skill.

i wonder if the curse took any pvp penalties, as it didnt seem to do much dmg. then again, i guess 23 mana/life per spirit isnt much either.

not really. as long as you have alot of fcr you should be fine. but the curse depends on the other person having more mana than life and casting alot to become effective. also, its the revived casting the curse, so the revivers mana isnt relavent.

another problem is, who is gonig to kill it? if u kill it, u will get the experience and after a few hundred duels u will lvl and being out the lvl limit

then you just remake, because most likely by then youll of aquired new items and need a remake anyways. the experience really isnt the issue, its the fact that the cursers die in 1 hit, it doesnt hurt for very much life, and the opponent needs to have more mana than life for it to even work

Anyway if you are Hell rushed , you can always go in hell and get killed to loose that extra Xp Wink
