Questions:

Ias BP's for War Javs/Ceremonials and Jab are:
6 Frame @ 24 IAS
5.5 Frame @ 40 IAS
5 Frame @ 63 IAS

I want to use as much CB as possible, while attacking as fast as possible, so this rules out the 5 Frame jab, unless anyone can think of a way to get more IAS without sacrificing gloves. 5 Frame is only possible with 20-30 ias Javs, Death Gloves/Belt, and Twitch.

I'm entertaining the following options for gear choices:

Setup A:
1. 10 ias/10 cb gloves
2. 30 ias War Javs or Ceremonials
3. Max dmg Armor.

PROS: More dmg, 5.5 frame Jab, +jav trees from Ceremonials

CONS: Loss of FHR, more dex for blocking, loss of life/str/dex


Setup B:
1. +1 p/m 10 cb gloves
2. 20 ias War Javs
3. Twitch

PROS: FHR, low dex for blocking, 5.5 jab. More to Dodge/Inner Sight/Crit/ Penetrate.

CONS: lowest dmg out of three setups.


Setup C:
1. +1 jav/ 10 cb gloves
2. 20 ias War Javs
3. Twitch.

PROS: FHR, low dex, 5.5 Jab, + AR/dmg for jab

CONS: More mana per jab, lower dmg.


Setup D:
1. Death Gloves
2. 20 Ias War Javs
3. Twitch

PROS: FHR, low dex, resistances 5 frame Jab

CONS: lower p/m skills, lower jab dmg, lower cb



As of right now I'm leaning towards setup B. Could anyone bear to read this post and give me some input?

without the twitch at 29 there relaly isnt a good way to hit 63ias with 10ias crush gloves.
u should probably abandon the idea of hitting 5frames for the sake of jab dmg and crush.

u dont need +jav skills.. thats not really helping u unless u went with charged strike. (+1 or 2 to jab is nothing)

u will need tons of dex for cerimonial.. so u can ditch the twitch for way more dmg.

Setup A imo seems best.

however get yourself some 80 avg dmg 30ias cerimonial ,, put on the twitch and deaths gloves and pound away with FAST jab and the crushing from the boots.

but u should make/have a 45 mask ready

Somewhat confused by your respone.

You say that Setup A seems best, but then you suggest that I use Setup D.

I have some huge reservations about not using Twitch. Twitch saves me:

20 from stat bonues = 60 life
30 dex from max block = 90 life
20 fhr from charms = 60 life

overall 210 life from using Twitch over a Max Dmg Armor.

If I were to use Ceremonials I'd be losing at least 90 life, unless they happened to have -reqs on them.

Only other option that holds a candle to twitch if I use ceremonials is an high Max'd Artisian's Light Plate (Mage Plate) of Stability. Wish me luck on shopping that one!
