i was a retard and traded my 8 or so hex for inventories full of shafts, ss's, burizas and sojs the day before the patch. i had about 2-3 accounts full of uniques....alot of good it did me eh? the only thing i dont regret is buying the sojs...atleast i have enough to equipt 20 chars with 2 each.

eh the whole west currency market was based off hex charms (which poofed) so when no one had any currency to trade it ruined the economy and took a few weeks for it to lvl out and find a suitable replacement and the fact that dr was capped at 50% really killed the value of ss's and shafts

I love the new dr, it frees up my armor slot because ss + string = 50%, I don't have to use shaftstop any more Very Happy

What were the mods on hex charms anyway? I don't think they ever made it big on east.

east had them like these but were never made public but the public ones were not anywhere near what west had

i was hoping the currency would become sojs, so i bought all sojs and uniques to trade for sojs after the patch. the uniques? they;re either given away, on characters, or still on mules. they became practically worthless thanks to all the new rune words and rune currency.

and yea, hex were huge on west....good thing, cuz the only way i was able to afford them was to waste my time collecting 40chipped and 40 pgems. 40 chipped or 40 pgems at the time = 1 hex. but there were so many that you were paying like 15 hex for a grandfather or 10 for a wf.
i remember 1.08 wf cost 2 hex and a 1.09 wf cost 10..it was fucked.

what was even more retarded was, all the duelers were using 40 of em, so if you wanted to win duels, you had to use your currency as duelin charms. Rolling Eyes

I miss the days when there were 8 bowazons, all using GoldStrike, Buriza, Mav's bows and stuff, and having massive wars out in the moor' around houses. Thought I'd say that because it wasn't too long after that , that wf's became popular.

good memories, I might go back to classic just because expansion is borrrrrrrring.
