ok.... as i finish a1-a5, i do all my quest. I started doing the A3 Potion quest(gives 20 + life) As i killed my first Uniq monster, it didndt drop.....
so i make ng. I kill uniq monster no drop.

NOooooooooooooooo EXTRA 20 LIFE >.<

IS GONE

is this somej bug?

did you make the kill or did someone else?
if it was someone else who has done the quest, it wont drop.

iv ran into trouble getting this to work,,

one thing that helped me was to make sure i did that golden statue quest in normal first, then nightmare, last in hell.

make sure the quest is obtainable ofcourse, and a person who needs the quest must get the kill.

IT just worked........

I was killing The Council Members (the unique ones) and when i kill the first one, it drops a kalims flail. but then i killed a 2nd one, and it droped a jade figure ^_^

this quest is totally nit picky about how it gets completed. from what iv found from experience, this is what iv learnt:

1: you or someone else that needs the quest has to be the first person to be in act 3. if a character that has already completed the quest goes to act 3 first, you;re fucked. find a new game.

2: you have to kill the creature outright yourself with no help from anyone who has completed the quest. if they touch it, (whether that be static, enchanting you, or outright attacking it) it wont work.

3: not every unique will drop it. the main ones to focus on are sarina the battlemaid (in the ruined temple) that lightning tree unique at the bottom of the kurast bazaar, and the council. the others arent garunteed.

i just relized that ther was always lvl 30 when I WAS CREATING Trav RUnz, it would never drop..

Usually, it works for me everytime IF you kill the very first unique monster that spawns. So if you make a new game, and take the bazaar WP before any other place in act 3, and kill the closest unique monster to the WP, he will drop it 99% of the time. If he doesn't, he probably wasn't the closest. Double back and look for a closer one.

I don't think it matters if they're the closest, just so long as they're the first you kill.

I remember there were a whole bunch of nitpicky requirements in 09. The only one I can remember is one that might be your problem, if you're trying to get figurine from council. That is, if the monster you kill first is supposed to drop something else (gidbinn, flail, eye, brain, cube, whatever), then not only will that monster not drop the figurine, but no other monsters in that game will.

In 09 it was so easy O.O back when you could sue the norm one in hell. All I do to get jade for my lvl 9 duelers or w/e is I have a high level char who hasn't gotten the jade in any difficulty, and i just get it on her then xfer it. I know this is an old post but nobody suggested that and I wanted to.
