Can any one help me with building a good lvl 9 pvp/pk assn. I just have no clue where to start seein as how all my assn's have always sucked.
Im on useast, I got a lvl 29 pally (septembers_life), and a lvl 27 kick assn (septembers_time). Help would be much appreciated.

Well, my lvl 9 asn uses:

9 max/20 ar Biggins
Some rare ammy, I forget
~27 max/48 ar light plate
12 max pelta
eth jeweled blade talons with ~50 max dmg
Bloodfists
Death sash
Some crap boots with +15 ar etc...hotspur or hsarus boots are good too
A couple rings with +dex, ar, etc...sometimes a nagel depending on the duel.

She usually has ~1400 ar and does 250+ dmg (don't remember exactly)


Skills...I think it's something like 3 in bos, a few in tiger strike, and the rest in claw mastery. I'd have to look at her stats to know for sure.

Most ppl use dmg builds so here a my dmg build.

helm: 3 sock mask with 9 max or higher dmg jewls
amy: ar + , str +, dmg rare prefer.
rings: ar rings, like nargel or rare ones with str/dex
armor: 4 sock goth w/ 9 max jewls or higher dmg
shield: pelta w/ max dmg jewl
claw: blade talon prefer. non eth also prefer since they dispear. lol. w/ max dmg.
Gloves: death gloves or blood to get max frame
belt: death sash if they have cold or fhr + life/ mana/ str belt
boots: anything good like knarl said, or 10 run/walk dex, hit recov

skills: (max= max them at your level)
max ts
depending on gloves you use, 2-4 lvl bos i think.
then rest goes into claw mastery.

id go more claw mastry than tiger strike. level nines need MASS ar. whats the good of doing big dmg if you can never land a hit? get like 9 claw mastry and 3 BoS and rest into tiger.

umm not nessary. lev 9 dont have much def so around 1k AR is fine but even w/ my build, my asn has 1.5k ar without sig helm, and 1.7k AR with sig helm. thats way more AR then any other char has at lev 9 besides the asn.

it all depends on your gear, and not everyone can get massive ar rings/ammy/charms right away. my suggestion was gor people who dont have them. on my sin i have 9 tiger, 4 bos, and 7 claw (hell rushed) but i still have crappy ar (11xx tiger, 7xx norm).

as for gear, i use:

two nagels (75 and 73 ar)
deaths gloves/belt
hotspurs
pelta (jeweled)
max dmg mask
max dmg light plate
max dmg blade talon
and a crappy rare amulet with low ar on it.

so i suggest to anyone making their first sin, and who doesnt have the ar gear, go for more claw mastry than tiger strike. as i said before, its no good having huge dmg if you cant land the hit.

edit: oh, and 1k ar isnt fine, you need around 1300-1400.

12 points for normal lvl 9 (3 bos, 8 TS, 1 CM)

slvl 9 CM = 67%ed, 110%ar
slvl 9 TS = *520%ed, 71%ar

*avg 2nd charge releasing

conclusion: loose 30% more ar for about 700% more dmg...
id take the dmg.

ok let me be way more accurtate, i lvl 9 duel and im quite sure i have my info right.. so lets do a paper test.

slvl 1 TS
+100%
+200%
+300%
+17% ar

slvl 1 CM
+35% ed
+30%ar

slvl 9 TS
+260%
+520%
+780%
+71% ar

lvl 9 CM
+67%ed
+110% ar

lvl 1 CM, lvl 9 TS
= avg 520% hit* with +71%ar (+30% ar when releaseing)

lvl 9 CM lvl 1 TS
= avg 200%* hit with +110%ar (110% ar when realesing)

so u gain +80%ar for the release hit at a sacrifice of 320%ed
*avg realese at 2nd charge


the person doing 520% is doing [(520-200)/520] =
128% more dmg then the other.

two lvl 9s at 400 def and 600 (release) AR:
= 60% CtH

add another +80% to base AR and thats what,,, 400 more at best?

1000 vs 400 = 71%


conclusion)
an 11% loss to hit at the sacrifice of 128% more final dmg**

**NOT ED% here FINAL DMG.. the diff between a 400 dmg hit(66 pvp) or 912 (152pvp)

the dmg defienetly has my vote

*shrug* like i said, its your choice. when i dueled my sin i found i hit far less than i should have been. then again i was pking level 25s, so im sure they had much more armor than a level 9 can have. my point is, when you're just starting go for more claw mastry than tiger strike. when you get the ar gear you need, remake with more tiger strike.

true, but ar is a HUGE importance in vlld. if you have less than your opponent theres a good chance youll lose.

not really. Its not THAT big of a deal.

use ar vs def cal. the % is low if everyone else has low def but getting a very thin slight edge wouldnt be bad either.
