its real.. realms only . NOT sp

its from 1.07 the listing of the rune.txt file from 1.07 so its as old as LOD itself

the big question: have more old runwords have been secretly enabled.??.. (this can ONLY be discovered trial and error on realms)

keep in mind the 1,07 listed runewords (in the txt fle) have changed, so they dont work as listed.. coincidently "splendor" had no changes.. so it was found easily

My guess is that these were planned runewords that never got released, and the overlapping names on the current 1.10 ones are revised versions of these older ones. Most of the old ones aren't all that impressive from a 1.10 standpoint, though, and my guess is they just decided to set aside those old ones out that they made in 1.07/1.08/1.09 and come up with new ones.

So instead of these runewords, Blizzard decided to make the overpowered runewords (enigma, call to arms, BOTD) we have today. Rolling Eyes

silent_pvp: I'm not sure of those 1.07 Runewords in that link actually work on realms. It was a clan project to make things a lot more interesting.

I've shown the 1.07 BOTD CB as a comparison to the 1.10 BOTD CB, people liked the idea, so I've finished the first 20 Runewords in the 1.07 Runes.txt and showed it to the clan.

The newest two runewords are quite impressive, I must say. Runes that aren't too hard to get with very good mods makes for some economical armors that can still do very well for a mid or high level dueler. I doubt it will pry Enigma from most people, but at least there's some more viable alternatives on the realms now.

P.S: I fixed a slight typo in your post, Jerkazoid: You put Mat instead of Mal in the Prudence formula. Surprised

Edit: Beauty apparently also works now:

Beauty
El Ral Eth
3 socket helm
+3 Light Radius
+50% Magic Find
Faster Hit Recovery (20)
+15 Defense
+30% Fire Resistance
+15% to Mana Regeneration

It's also within LLD level limits to boot. Might not be too bad for characters who need the extra FHR or players looking for an economical MF helmet.

Web, why is it in your screenshots your horadric cube is 1 slot big??? Question

Note to everyone: When looking at these screenshots, dont look at the lvl reqs, as they are wrong, since Web used high lvl req stuff (zerkers, sacred armor, etc etc)

And Pansy, apperantly web found out beauty works before you did Rolling Eyes

Never said they worked..

That's part of my new modding project, everything is very small and much easier to play.

Look at the Runes used in them, if they are El, Eld, Tir, Nef, Eth, Ith, Tal, Ral, Ort, Thul, Amn, Sol, Shael, then they are good for LLD.

1.07 Runewords were lost, I can't seem to find a patch for 1.07, nor do I want to uninstall Diablo II and see.
